The casually-dressed and makeup-free Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) was caught shopping together with her mother in Central a few days ago. Rumored to be dating the action star, Philip Ng (伍允龍), several Hong Kong media sources reported that Linda’s mother, who resides in Canada, has recently returned to her homeland to visit her future son-in-law.
Linda’s romantic rumors with Philip never stopped after the couple worked on film, Love All Around <十分爱>, in 2007 together five years ago. Although they never admitted to the relationship, the couple’s status within the industry had always been an open secret. When they were rumored to have broken up, Philip immediately clarified to the public that his relationship with Linda never changed. Linda debunked the rumor as well, and assured that she is still great friends with Philip. She also admitted once that she had met Philip’s parents before, indirectly confirming their stable relationship.
Was the purpose of her mother’s Hong Kong trip to visit rumored boyfriend, Philip? In a phone interview, Linda initially avoided the question, but later explained, “Every year, my mom would come to Hong Kong and stay with me for three months. That day, my mom and I went to Central to get a haircut.” Asked if her mother has met Philip, Linda sweetly said, “My mom has seen many of my friends!”
