Mandy Cho Man Lei revealed that she has been pregnant for four months with a baby girl. Since it was her first baby, Mandy said she was very happy whether it was a girl or boy. She intends to give birth in Hong Kong but did not decide whether to select the date to deliver or whether to let it happen naturally.
Mandy stated, “We have not finalized on the baby’s name yet. I will let my husband decide on the baby’s Chinese name, since he has high standards on the Chinese meaning and will not allow me to pick one in without careful consideration. I have already decided on the baby’s English name, but will wait for my family’s approval.”
Since Mandy became pregnant, her mother will accompany her at promotional events to take care of her. Asked whether her lifestyle was impacted by her pregnancy, Mandy said, “I think the most difficult is sleeping. In the past, I used to toss freely in my sleep. After becoming pregnant, I have been more mindful of my sleeping position, afraid to press on my stomach too much.”

Congrats to Mandy! A lot of people are having babies this year, even just within my group of friends too! There will be a lot of baby rabbits this year! Maybe it’s a good year to have kids. Feng shui, perhaps?
Perhaps the year of the rabbit is a good sign to have a baby in? I don’t know for sure lol. I only recall Mandy from one series she was in…but didn’t make much of an impact on me as actress. However, I am always pleased to hear about baby news! Congratulations to Mandy and her family.
