Mandy Wong Spotted On Date With Management Executive
“I hope my other half is mature and stable, while giving me a sense of security,” Mandy Wong (黃智雯) had described her criteria when looking for a boyfriend. Although the rising TVB star had given the impression that she is still waiting for love to happen, Mandy may already be involved with a lucky man.
On November 10, 29-year-old Mandy Wong was spotted walking on the street with 35-year-old Anthony Jim (詹文天), Deputy Director of Tse Sui Luen Jewellry. With their heads bowed and concentrating on their cell phones, Mandy and Anthony were cautious to not display any outward public signs that they knew each other.
In a telephone interview later, Mandy was asked whether she is currently dating Anthony. “No, we only agreed to meet for lunch on that day.” Mandy revealed that she and Anthony met through a mutual friend 6 months ago.
Acknowledging that Anthony Jim possessed very good qualities, Mandy said, “I didn’t think too much about being friends. Let’s wait for further understanding. I’m very busy lately filming dramas and rehearsing for the TVB Anniversary Gala.”
Although Anthony is a management executive in the jewelry industry, Mandy said that his company will not be sponsoring her jewelry arrangements for the upcoming TVB Anniversary events, in which Mandy is a hot contender for this year’s Best Support Actress award for her breakout performances in L’Escargot <缺宅男女> and The Hippocratic Crush <On Call 36小時>.

i dont know what is the hype about her. her acting in both series isnt that great to me. best supporting actress? there are better actresses for that award.
i actually find her acting style extremely natural, with the exception of her in L’Escargot.
in my opinion, she ranks above nancy wu, christine kuo and eliza shum.
i do think selena li, natalie tong and elaine yiu are better than mandy but don’t get the same level of recognition.

I was okay with Mandy last year and before, even like her a little. But this year, I feel her popularity is causing some of her fans to be very obnoxious. I find some of them to be very irritating. I don’t hate her, but her fans can be very annoying to me.
