Michael Tse and Kate Tsui Films “Sniper Attack 2013” Trailer

TVB’s upcoming action drama produced by Kwan Wing Chung (關永忠), Sniper Attack 2013 <神槍狙擊2013>, will begin filming this December. On October 11, Michael Tse (謝天華) and Kate Tsui (徐子珊) were caught filming the sales presentation clip for Sniper Attack 2013 at TVB studios. Michael was dressed casually, wearing a baseball cap and dark shades.

Eddie Cheung (張兆輝) and Kathy Chow (周海媚) are also confirmed to be part of the cast. Not much is known about the plot of Sniper Attack 2013, but it has been reported that the drama revolves around a group of Hong Kong Police SDU snipers, and Michael Tse will be portray the story’s main villain.

Cast in another crime drama again, Michael joked that his wife is already tired of seeing him portraying roles related to law enforcement, and suggested him to not film dramas that deal with police affairs again. Michael humorously said that he ignored his wife’s request and expressed that he is attracted to challenging roles.

Michael exclaimed that he is looking forward to working with Eddie Cheung. As for his other costar Kathy Chow, whom he had worked with in 2009’s E.U.  <學警狙擊>, Michael laughed, “I had a crush on her last time. Would she have a crush on me this time?”

Reporters noticed that Michael’s wife, Tina, had been “showing off her blissfulness” through the happy messages she had been posting on her Weibo blog recently. Michael smiled and said, “After I proposed to her on top of Snow Mountain in 2004, someone stole her engagement ring. Around Mid-Autumn Festival of this year, I bought her another ring to replace it. My wife never asked me when I had replaced it, but as a man we should know what to do without being told!” Asked if Michael had given Tina a really big diamond ring, Michael sighed, “Well, I had to save over 8 years in order to have enough money to buy it.”

Several days ago, Michael was photographed shopping for a tuxedo, and the reports claimed that he was invited to be a groomsman for Ekin Cheng (鄭伊健) and Yoyo Mung’s (蒙嘉慧) wedding. Michael confirmed that he indeed went tuxedo shopping, but it was for Chin Kar Lok (錢嘉樂) and Angela Tong’s (湯盈盈) November wedding instead.

  1. Seems like an interesting series if there are good supporting artists too…

  2. Another sniper sequel? Eager to watch the sales presentation already. Interesting cast I believe. I wonder if Kate will complain about her role but it’s different from her previous police roles.

      1. Or maybe cop series is the only type she’s tolerable in and she’s horrible in other types? ROFL

      2. maybe i’m the only one but i liked her in wax and wane too:P

      3. No no. Her in good girl characters always screams FAKE! LOL

  3. This is still a sales presentation, the cast is not fully confirmed. I do hope Kate will film a different genre drama though it seems like she would be overshadowed by her co stars.

    1. But this drama is slated to start filming in December… So I think she is part of the confirmed casts.

Too bad there isn’t a tiger Cubs 2 sales presentation 🙁

      1. Yeah but you never know most of the time they change the cast for different reasons.

I heard TC would be make into a movie instead?

  4. I saw a pix of her in Tom Rider outfit. She looks great but I recomend she gain 5 more lbs.

  5. Ekin Cheng and Yoyo Mung’s—they’re getting married?? wow.

Also, so Michael is more closer to Chin Kar Lok and Angela Tong’s??

I like police drama, so lots of luck Michael, this bring back memory of Virtue of Harmony ^O^

    1. Michael is probably as close to Ekin as Chin Kar Lok — the one of the gang that he’s closest to would probably be Jordan Chan — it’s just that Ekin’s wedding on Dec 21st is apparently just rumour for now and anyway Chin Kar Lok’s wedding will come first in November 🙂

    2. Well, they are all part of the Y&D gang. So, maybe he’s close to both.

  6. I like seeing Kate in ancient (like in Relic of an Emissary) but every drama she’s in is modern!!!!

  7. Kate as a cop again? I lost count. She’s stuck in cop roles or cop-related series. TVB needs to give her other roles to challenge her acting.

No Tiger Cubs 2. That’s why TVB is filming another SDU series. It’s ok. TVB tends to ruin sequels anyway, but it would be nice to use some of the cast in Tiger here.

  8. Sigh. Why can’t they get the Tiger Cubs casts to join this series instead of getting new casts? T_T

  9. Sound interesting! Looking forward to see Kathy Chow and Eddie!
