Michael Tse Anticipates Becoming a Father Next Year

Since getting married in 2005, Michael Tse (謝天華) and his wife Tina Lee (李天恩) have been trying for a child. Unfortunately, Tina suffered from fallopian tube obstruction and had to opt for in-vitro fertilization in order to fulfill the couple’s dreams. Despite three previously failed attempts, Michael and Tina announced that the fourth time was a success and they are now expectant parents.

Both Michael and Tina love children and were more than willing to spend $600,000 HKD on their first three attempts of in-vitro fertilization. Despite the failed attempts, Michael never gave Tina pressure on becoming pregnant and even gave up hopes of becoming a father. But after seeing his good friends Jordon Chan (陳小春) and Timmy Hung (洪天明) become fathers one after another, Michael’s wish to become a parent was ignited once more. Now that Tina is five months into her pregnancy, the couple can finally let out a sigh of relief.

Taking Extra Precaution During Pregnancy

Since Tina is pregnant for the first time at the age of 39, she and Michael have been taking extra precaution. Worried about keeping the fetus safe, Tina rarely goes out and when she does, a good friend always accompanies her. Earlier in October, Tina was spotted happily shopping for baby products with Jordan Chan’s wife, Cherie Ying (應采兒).

Since Tina became pregnant, Michael became an extremely gentle husband. A source disclosed, “When I was shopping with friends and eating dinner, Tina sat down and ordered an iced lemon tea. Michael told her not to drink cold beverages. I have never seen Michael so sweet and gentle. He even gifted her a $1 million HKD four-carat diamond ring!”

      1. Anon, the shallow one is yeungforlife.
Kolo, she’s preggers so don’t be mean.

      2. For women who have been through any IVF treatment with full hormon medicines, of course the medicines will influence their body weight, mood & even having some bad side effect. It’s a very long & painful process like roller coaster for having 1 IVF & she even make it 4x IVF! Not all women are so brave like her to deal with all the pain & the painful IVF process. Those who don’t understand the pain for women who taking IVF pls be so kind & respectful before you judging someone appearance because up you don’t know what struggle she’s been through for having her own child.

      1. this poor woman went for IVF 4x…with each session, she will put on weight. to want a baby so badly and get pregnant is a blessing.

    1. what are you talking about?? she looks better than michael..
      michael looks gross lol

    2. What a shallow comment. She’s fine enough for an ordinary woman at her age. It’s not like Michael Tse is anything outstanding whether in looks or career.

    3. Well at least Michael isn’t as shallow as you are… hope YOU have the looks for your future mate lol

    4. I really think his wife does not match Michael…even if she is not pregnant!

  5. So happy for Michael and his family. He is a great actor and too bad he has left TVB.

    1. laughing gor is a good actor. I wish his wife a smooth delivery too…not easy for a woman in her late 30s to have a first child.

  6. ‘He even gifted her a $1 million HKD four-carat diamond ring!’ GIFTED… is there such a word in the 1st place… Omg!!!

  7. Yes, gifted is a word. You’re usually see the word used as a noun. Gift can also be a verb; so gifted is past particle of the verb gift. It means to give someone a present. Gifted can also be an adjective, which means someone is talented.

I sugeest check the dictionary or use google before you try (and fail) to point out someone’s so-called mistake next time.

    1. Of course it is a word but it’s not meant to be used in such a way. Should be “presented her a gift” not gifted…gifted is an adjective and not suitable to be used as a verb, pardon me if I’m wrong.

      1. Hi. The other poster asked if there’s such a word as “gifted.” My response was yes, because it is an actual word.

“Gifted” is not wrong and is suitable to use in this context. It’s just a synonym of “presented” or “gave”. It can be and meant to be use as a verb in this article, which is fine technically/grammatically. It probably looks awkward because it’s not commonly used like a verb.
