Miss Chinese International 2018 contestants met with the press today. The pageant will be held on Saturday, February 3 at TVB Studios this year.

Among the 16 contestants, #3 Hong Kong’s Juliette Louie stood out the most with her sharp features and curves. Due to playing volleyball and practicing wing chun, Juliette’s figure is in top form but she said she allows herself to eat what she loves. “I haven’t changed my eating habits; I still love to eat fried chicken. There’s no need to lose too much weight; being too skinny is not healthy.” Asked if her target is to win the crown, Juliette said, “This time, I’m more relaxed. Of course I hope to win the crown; that’s the desired result.”

Bearing a resemblance to Crystal Liu (劉亦菲), #10 New York’s Rose Li (李思佳) was asked whether she has confidence to win the crown. Rose said, “It’s important to have confidence. I used one year to prepare, run, lift weights and train my body, and diet. My weight dropped from 117 to 104 pounds.”

Contestant #16, Vancouver’s Cheryl Ng (伍殷嬅), is another favorite among the press. Contestant #11, San Francisco’s Elisa Santos (高詠堃), and #12 Singapore’s Christina Cai (蔡美琪) were the bustiest candidates.

Hailing from Hawaii, #2 Crystal Yang (楊筑晶) is the tallest candidate at 5 feet 11 inches and weighing 148 pounds. The most petite candidate is #13 Australia’s Summer Meng (孟鈺) who weighs 101 pounds. Contestant #4, Malaysia’s Tiffany Teh (鄭亦庭), has thick eyebrows and wide eyes. Contestant #7, Philippines’ Joy Wu (吳雪蓮), unfortunately, reminded others of William Hung.

  1. Did they seriously say Juliette Louie stood out the most, when HK media also called her ugly when she won Miss HK? Now they’re just favoring her because she’s the HK representative lol.

    1. @msxie0714 doubt Eric Tsang attendance. He should sit at home to watch the broadcast because he always offend the contestant by picking on their words. C Guan and Luk Wing can do the job. lol also I guess Nat Chan will probably be the Mc too, that’s my anticipation of course.

  2. I guess the microphone will hand to 麥美恩. She just won the most improved female artiste – whether we agreed or not.

  3. This is officer Bubble tea asking everyone to please vacate the area. Please disperse., nothing to see here, please disperse, nothing to see here. Lol.
