Moses Chan Supports Aimee Chan’s Comeback

The cast of TVB’s new primetime drama Every Step You Take <陪著你走>, including Moses Chan (陳豪), Elaine Yiu (姚子羚), and Helen Ma (馬海倫), attended an event held at Diamond Hill to promote the series. The 20-episode drama, which is also Myolie Wu’s (胡杏兒) last drama under TVB management, premiered on August 31.

At the event, the organizers arranged for the cast to put diapers on baby dummies. Moses did it blindfolded, and although he gave a messy performance, he professed that he is quite experienced as he often has to change his sons’ diapers in the middle of the night.

Moses also revealed that his oldest son Aiden, who will be turning two in December, recently attended his first playgroup class. “He’s in his first year!” Asking if Aiden cried on the first day of school, he said, “He did not. In fact, he was very happy and was running around.” Moses believes that it is good for toddlers to attend playgroups, “It helps them grow and get used to being around other people.”

Moses’ wife, actress Aimee Chan (陳茵媺), recently announced her comeback in the acting industry. She was cast in the new comedy film Let’s Eat! <開飯啦>, directed by Chapman To (杜汶澤). Moses said he is very supportive of Aimee’s decision to come back. “She’s still worried about leaving the kids at home without her, so this is just a small project for her to warmup. Why not?”

Moses had many intimate kissing scenes with Chapman To’s wife, Kristal Tin (田蕊妮), in the TVB drama Ghost of Relativity <鬼同你OT>. Reporters joked that Chapman’s reason in casting Aimee was to take revenge. Moses laughed, “We are all professionals. As an actor, we should not carry any apprehensions.” He added that he would not mind seeing Aimee being intimate with another actor on screen. “In fact, I want her to do her best in those scenes.”

Female lead Myolie Wu was absent at the promotional event. Her good friend Elaine was asked if Myolie was busy planning for her marriage. Elaine laughed, “Why are you guys always asking if she’s preparing to get married?”

Elaine revealed that TVB had proposed a possible travel show project to Myolie, Elaine, and their group of close friends in the industry. However, the six friends found it difficult to find time in their schedule to film the show. “I heard that the original plan was going to Taiwan.”

Despite being so close, the girlfriends have never gone on vacation together. They originally planned on going on a one-day yacht trip together, and Elaine even prepared a swimsuit, but plans fell through.
