Moses Chan to Appear As Judge in 2011 Miss Hong Kong Pageant

The judges for the upcoming 2011 Miss Hong Kong Pageant, including Moses Chan (陳豪) and Vivian Chow (周慧敏), with the 14 contestants yesterday. Returning to Hong Kong from overseas, Moses said he did not have time to pay attention to the contestants. He did not have a favorite contestant yet.

Reporters teased Moses that rumored girlfriend, Aimee Chan (陳茵媺), who was a former Miss Hong Kong winner must be the hottest! Moses laughed loudly, “I don’t know how to pick!” (What criteria do you have?) “I will look at the personality and communications skills, as the winners will represent Hong Kong.” (What about the body?) “As Miss Hong Kong, the figure does not need to be extremely good. It should be okay.”  (Did Aimee Chan meet all your conditions?) “Ha ha ha… okay ga! Okay ga!”

In addition, yesterday a reader revealed that contestant #3, Whitney Hui (許亦妮), received Botox injections. Whitney denied the rumors and generously asked the reporter to touch her face.  “I rarely get facials and would apply my own masks [at home] instead.”

Jayne: It appears that Moses is a frequent judge at Miss Hong Kong and Miss Chinese International Pageants? I thought I have seen him as a judge in former competitions.

On another note, did anyone visit Moses’ new coffee shop in Malaysia??

  1. @Jayne, I stay in KL in Malaysia & I don’t have the slightest clue where Ah Month’s cafe is located!!! I did try to google, but in vain! Anybody here knows where the cafe is located!!! 🙁

    1. Is it open yet?

I heard someone said it will be inside a shopping complex but I forgot the name of the complex.

      1. Kidd,

If I’m not mistaken…the complex they meant is KLCC

    2. Joeanne,
Surprised that no one knows where Moses’ coffee shop is located at! Since he spoke extensively about the store opening in earlier interviews, you would think his PR would promote the whereabouts of his coffee shop more.

      1. @Jayne, yup! Absolutely no news on his cafe! Heard about it’s gonna be open in July, but its already August now! Heard also that its gonna be in Pavillion Shopping Mall, but all hear-say only….

      2. Joeanne,
A mall location for Moses’ cafe will have a lot of traffic! Hmm…since Moses is such a coffee connoisseur, I was expecting him to pick a more quiet location. Haha when I think of the mall, I do not associate it with gourmet coffee.

  2. Glad to see Moses and Vivian as the judges. It is always nice to familiar faces in the judging portal.

  3. I was looking forward to check out the café opened by Moses though I’m not a fan of coffee.
Pavillion is a good location but rental is high but of course it’s much cheaper than Hong Kong.
But, not sure the crowd and most of the times, businesses opened by all these entertainments won’t work out. I think it’s because they don’t have the time to check & oversee their business.
But, I sincerely hope it’ll work out well for Moses.
