Myolie Wu Celebrates 35th Birthday
Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) celebrated her 35th birthday last night at a pub in Central with close friends and old classmates.
Mandy Wong (黃智雯), Elaine Yiu (姚子羚), Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣), Sharon Chan (陳敏之), Pal Sinn (單立文) and his wife Paisley Wu (胡蓓蔚), Grace Wong (王君馨), Sire Ma (馬賽), and Johnson Lee (李思捷) attended the party.
Myolie said her birthday wish is to be happy. Asked what her plans would be after she leaves TVB next year, Myolie smiled and said, “Leave TVB? I’m still with TVB. I don’t want to talk about work today. Thank you!” Do Myolie have a boyfriend with you? “Boyfriend? I don’t have one!”
Christine Ng (伍詠薇) and her husband Kasey Lin (練海棠) showed up at the party after midnight. Asked if Myolie has a secret boyfriend, Christine said, “If Myolie does have a boyfriend, she didn’t bring him to the party. But I don’t think she has one. Everything is just gossip at this point.”
Despite being close friends, Christine said she will not play matchmaker and introduce someone to Myolie. “That’s big responsibility. I don’t think I will do it. I hope Myolie will get whatever she wants, be it boyfriend, money, love, family, or career.”
The party ended at 2 a.m. Grace Wong, Linda Chung, and Sire Ma hailed a taxi and left together. Sire did not respond to any questions regarding her comeback and only smiled. Myolie shared a photo of her holding a bouquet of 99 roses on Weibo, which was later revealed to be a gift from Elaine Yiu.

Why does it seem like Christine is the best friend to so many showbiz people? She seems to be best pals to just about everyone who is somewhat popular.
Judging by the enormous crowd of attendees, Myolie seems to be a really genuine and sincere person. The entertainment circle is often perceived as a cut-throat, each for himself type of society. It is so rare to see such close friendships, and Myolie seems to be one of the few actresses who has formed and maintained such genuine friendships.
i totally agree. i watched her dramas since her debut and shes one of those actresses that i really like. she seems so kind and sincere!

The red roses were very nice but would have been even nicer had they been from a man! Wonder what they (the men ) gave her as their birthday gifts. That would be telling, wouldn’t that? However, I hope they had a super time, seeing that the party didn’t break up till 2.00am!
