Myolie Wu Denies Pregnancy Rumors: “I Was Visiting the Dentist”
Since marrying entrepreneur Philip Lee (李乘德) in 2015, Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) was frequently reported to be pregnant. Turning 38 years old this year, Myolie has expressed her desire to have children soon. Photographed entering a clinic recently, Myolie was speculated to be pregnant.
Appearing at a Lunar New Year event with Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣), Myolie wore a loose, high-waist skirt and five-inch sneakers, a departure from her normal skin-tight outfits. Addressing pregnancy rumors, Myolie said, “You guys are more worried about it than I am! It’s a lot of pressure. If I’m pregnant, I’ll let everyone know. I haven’t even completed all my work on hand yet. I’ll be filming in Mainland China until April. [The filming schedule] was slightly delayed.”
On whether she will halt all work to concentrate on getting pregnant after completing her current work obligations, Myolie said, “There’s no need. Trying to get pregnant doesn’t need to be taken to such an extent. Right now, I’m seeking Chinese medicine to prepare my health and body. But the photograph taken [of me entering a clinic] was when I was visiting a dentist!”
Myolie’s old flame and fellow actor, Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), recently signed a $30 million HKD contract with Shaw Brothers for three years. The ex-lovers may have the opportunity to create onscreen sparks again. In regards to a possible collaboration in a movie, Myolie graciously expressed that she would not have a problem with it. “I hope he does well no matter who he signs with and everything goes smoothly!”

@jjwong she looks different each time she makes an appearance cos she can’t stop mucking around with her face. Used to think she’s pretty but not anymore. Her mouth looks wider and wider and her chin gets pointier and pointier each time.
I must say she does not look 38. At most early 30s.
why do reporters still ask her about bosco? Old news and she’s a married woman now. Crazy.
i hope they don’t wait too long. always better to start early but then if their schedule is pack, can’t be helped.
I don’t think it’s a good idea for her to express her plans to have a baby. It’s not guaranteed that if a couple wants a baby then they will get one.
