The breakup between Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) and Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) have sent the public into a state of alarmed concern. While the media continued to speculate as to the driving force behind the sudden breakup, select insiders, such as Virginia Lok (樂易玲), Tang Chi Wai (鄧智偉), and Sharon Chan (陳敏之), knew of the true reasons. Sharon stated that she knew of Myolie’s decision to end the 8-year relationship one month ago.

Sharon Chan Knew About Breakup Early

Sharon Chan echoed Virginia Lok’s statement earlier that Myolie and Bosco have been having problems in their relationship for a long period of time. Appearing at a promotional event yesterday, Sharon said Myolie was very unhappy, but did not gripe about her sorrows. Sharon said, “She is very tough! I only said one thing to her, ‘As long as you are happy, that’s what matters!’ When I found out about the breakup, I was very shocked. Since they were together for many years, it is a loss.”

Sharon felt that the reason for the breakup was not due to Bosco being involved with a third party. “Their problems have been there for a long time, in which they carefully considered before deciding to break up.”

Nancy Wu Tight Lipped

Myolie Wu, Nancy Wu (胡定欣), Mandy Wong (黃智雯), and Paisley Wu (胡蓓蔚) have become close friends that met once each month for dinner. As one of Myolie’s closest friends in the industry, Nancy remained tight-lipped on Myolie’s breakup. Asked how Myolie was currently doing, Nancy replied, “Very good! There is no need to worry!”

Nancy was equally reluctant to comment on the recent promiscuous allegations against Bosco Wong, Ron Ng (吳卓羲) and Raymond Lam (林峯).  Asked whether actors in the industry were promiscuous and flirtatious, Nancy replied, “I will not comment. There are such men inside and outside the industry! The most important thing is suitability, understanding and the ability to work things out, including timing issues.”

Mandy Wong Unaware of Breakup

After filming A Chip Off the Old Block <巴不得爸爸> together, Mandy Wong (黃智雯) forged a good friendship with Myolie Wu. Revealing that she had dinner and went to a karaoke bar with Myolie recently, Mandy did not know that about the “Boscolie” breakup in advance. Mandy said, “I did not know. I did not hear Myolie talk about it. As long as Myolie is happy!”

Mandy laughed off rumors that Myolie was involved with 41-year-old Taiwanese actor, Eric Huang (黃少祺). Mandy said, “That good? Why did she not introduce him to me?”

Linda Chung Said Bosco Has Disappeared

Although Witness Insecurity <護花危情> raked in strong ratings last week, Bosco Wong has been absent from recent promotional events for the drama. Filming 3 dramas together with Bosco, Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) did not wish to comment on “Boscolie’s” recent breakup. Linda said, “It is important for an outside to not give input into another couple’s relationship. I will support both of them, since they are both my friends.”

Linda  revealed that she has not seen Bosco for several days, although he was in Hong Kong last week. Although Linda sent a text message of encouragement to “add oil,” Bosco did not return her message yet.

Jayne: Nancy is a true friend and very impartial towards the men’s promiscuous allegations. Many artists apparently did not know of the breakup in advance though.
