Nancy Wu to Spend Christmas with Ruco Chan in Taiwan

TV Queen Nancy Wu (胡定欣) took a break from filming to attend an event in Tsim Sha Tsui. While playing games with fans on stage, one fan chose to surprise her with a self-written song, changing the lyrics to the theme song of Dr. Slump <IQ博士> to “Nancy and Ruco Are Important.”

Nancy didn’t mind her fans teasing her about her rumored relationship with Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), and happily joked along. “As long they’re happy,” said Nancy, when asked if she felt embarrassed. “I don’t feel awkward.” (They said their wish is for you to get together with Ruco!) “I don’t know how to answer that!” (Is he your cup of tea?) “As long as everyone’s happy!” (Playing hard to get?) “No, no!”

Although the entire world seems to be on board the “NanCo” ship, Nancy herself isn’t quite ready to step into it yet. Asking, once again, if her dating rumors with Ruco were true, Nancy said, “It’s just a rumor. Thank you everyone for their concerns about my love life, but I’ve been too busy to think about it at the moment.” (So there is a chance that you and Ruco can become a couple!) “Too busy to think about [dating]!”

Nancy and Ruco, both hot favorites to win Hong Kong’s TV thrones this year, will be traveling to Taiwan in December to film their action-thriller drama The Alliance <同盟>. They will be staying in Taiwan for three months, and will be spending the Christmas holidays there.

“It’s a tight film schedule,” said Nancy. “Actually I’m not even sure yet if we will go to Taiwan before the [TVB Anniversary Awards] or after.” (Happy that you’re spending Christmas with Ruco?) “I’ll be spending it with the crew too. I’ve asked Pal Sinn (單立文) and Paisley Wu (胡蓓蔚) to come visit me.” (As a third wheel?) “Don’t say that. Hopefully we don’t have to work on Christmas night.”

Nancy said she’s “too old” to be exchanging Christmas gifts with Ruco, but she likes the idea of holding a lunch or dinner party with The Alliance crew.
