Natalie Tong Tells Tony Hung To Watch “Speed of Life”

TVB’s upcoming television drama Speed of Life <鐵馬戰車> will be premiering in Hong Kong’s TVB Jade and Malaysia’s Astro On Demand on Monday, January 18. The drama about traffic policemen stars Kenny Wong (黃德斌), Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪), Natalie Tong (唐詩詠), and Sisley Choi (蔡思貝) in lead roles.

On Saturday, the cast promoted the series at the Plaza Hollywood shopping center in Kowloon East. The organizers showcased 29 motorcycles at the event, which costed a total of $8 million HKD, in celebration for the drama’s premiere on Monday.

Asking Natalie if she would get boyfriend Tony Hung (洪永城) to watch the show, she said with a smile, “He has to watch it, especially the first episode. Whenever he has a drama out, he would also get me to watch it, so it’s only fair that he has to watch all of [Speed of Life].”

Natalie, who is Tony’s acting senior, was then asked if they would critique each other’s performances as they support their respective shows. She said, “I try not to do it. He is still a rookie after all and there are many things he needs to fix. I think it’s more important to be supportive and encouraging. Don’t be so fussy. Get more practice first.”

On the topic of motorcycles, Sisley expressed that she fell in love with motorcycles while doing the show and will consider applying for a motorcycle license in the future.

The reporters joked that while Sisley is a rumor magnet, she surprisingly did not have any rumors with costar Kenny Wong while filming the series. Sisley laughed, “That’s too bad! But Kenny and I have a mentor-student relationship in the series.”

  1. I’ll give any drama a chance when Tony Hung is not the lead. A bit tired seeing him.
