Rumored to have reconciled their relationship, divorced couple, Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒) and Cecilia Cheung (張栢芝), secretly met over the Lunar New Year holidays with their children. Last night at 6 PM, Nicholas was photographed at Cecilia’s Parkview condo home. It was understood that Cecilia requested a dozen vacation days to spend the holidays with her two sons, Lucas and Quintus. In order for the family of four to spend the holidays together, Cecilia and Nicholas made advance preparations.
Since Nicholas and Cecilia’s photo collaborations with feng shui master, Mike, circulated last month, rumors that the divorced couple had reconciled spread like wildfire. Although Nicholas had denied the reconciliation claims, it was understood that Cecilia and Nicholas maintained a good relationship due to their love for their sons. The pair spent the last few days with their Lucas and Quintus.
Having already his sons the day before, Nicholas appeared again at Cecilia’s apartment last night, staying for half an hour. Upon leaving the residental building, a reporter rushed forward to issue New Year greetings towards Nicholas, upon which he smiled, “Yes, the same to you. Gung Hey Fat Choi!” Nicholas went back to his house in the Admiralty district. After putting on a leather jackets, Nicholas went to the Dragon King Restaurant in the Yau Ma Tei district. Upon seeing the press, Nicholas flashed a victory sign. Accompanied by his company’s employee, Nicholas enjoyed the holiday dinner.
Although Cecilia did not emerge from her apartment, she uploaded a video clip of Lucas eatting sphaghetti and shouting, “Yummy!” on Viddy. Cecilia originally requested 2 to 3 months vacation to spend with her sons. However, since she had too many work projects ahead, Cecilia was forced to shorten her vacation, returning to work in early February to film Dangerous Liaisons <危險關係>.
Cecilia’s new movie, The Lion Roars Again <河東獅吼2>was originally scheduled to be released on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2012. Since China’s approval process for historical films were particularly rigorous, Cecilia’s manager confirmed that t was uncertain whether The Lion Roars Again will be able to be released according to its orginal date.

Jayne: The paparazzi likely camped outside Cecilia’s apartment for days monitoring Nicholas’ entry habits into the apartment. As much as I wish they are back together, it is normal for Nicholas to continue to visit her home due to the bonds of their children. If Nicholas stays the entire night at her house, that would be a stronger indication of reconciliation.

They make for a really cute family but it sucks how the parents keep breaking up, going back together, everything is so unstable – how are the kids gonna adjust and grow up right?
I wonder if the kids, especially Lucas, know that their parents are divorced? Won’t Lucas wonder why his dad never spends the night at home with the mom? The eldest kid is going to turn 5 very soon and he will start suspecting about his parents’ relationship.
When a couple divorces, the most innocent victims are the kids… I guess in a sense it is better when they are younger because they are still too young to know. However, I think it is sad since they will question and wonder about things as they get older.
As man / father / husband, it’s really difficult for nic against prejudism against cecil for her scandal / nude and sex photos and keeping in touch with ex lover edison . I do understand why nic dump her
Well, since they have 2 kids together, it is inevitable for them to not spend some time together for the sake of the kids. I heard that they are at least decent friends and don’t hate each other’s guts…I once knew this lady who hated her husband after they divorced, however, they still have to see and tolerate each other for the sake of their 3 daughters…
I am happy to hear that they are getting along so well for their kids. At least they tried to make time with their kids to spend the holiday together. Nic denied the rumor and seem pretty sure that he is not getting back together with her but has Ceci deny the rumor as strongly as Nic?
When the reporters tried to ask her about reconciliation, she dodged the question by saying “Happy New Year!” She either doesn’t want to talk about it at all or is still having a tinge of hope. Think she should really move on if he’s so adamant about not reconciling, but I understand that it’s hard if she has to see her Ex whenever they have their get together.

I think no one really knows except those involved. Media will try to build a story, but in the circumstances, it is normal/decent for them to still be in touch for their kids. Nothing is conclusive from these ‘proof’. However, I think many are able to empathize with Nic more simply because of the scandals Cecilia had and the fact that she and her party kept pointing the finger at Nic for being a horrible father. The fact is, whether that is true or not, it would have probably irked Nic further and dampened chances of reconciliation. No celebrity would want a wife who constantly airs out the dirty laundry. But then again, love is a powerful thing and I’ve always seen them as a couple who are both rash and persistent in love.
They just look so good together! Why cant they just stay together like all normal couples???? Everyone has problems right?
Still they did the right thing in having these “family gatherings” for the seek of the kids.
It was nice to Nic visited the kids. It is appeared that Nic is moved on with his life by denial a rumor “getting back with Ceci”.
It is nice to see both Nic and Ceci are still friendly with each other.
Maybe they will be those on again, off again couples that are somehow together all their lives. After all they have children who will grow up together with their relationship.
I think Cecilia truly loves Nic. You know what they say, the extent of hate is the extent of the love.
They are both feisty, strong headed, “spoiled”? but I think they will always be on again off again for a very long time yet…
In the entertainment circles, I believe it is really hard for celebrity couples to stay together and live a normal life. Without their fans, they are ‘nothing’ and thus they owe it to their fans who creates publicity for them.
This is the price they have to pay for popularity. I really would not want to be in their shoes.
