Niki Chow (周麗淇) was rumoured to have rekindled her romance with former boyfriend, Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎). In an interview with Ming Pao Weekly, Nicki proclaimed that she was still unattached, “I am indeed single. Of course, I will date guys for dinner sometimes, but we will not develop anything further. If I enter into a relationship, I will be very serious. I can even sacrifice my career for love. I think at this point, I will focus on working harder.”
Who is Niki Loyal To?
Niki and Kevin had an underground relationship for four years and separated after Kevin reportedly fell for Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼). The ex-couple reportedly rekindled their love again at Toby Leung’s <梁靖琪> wedding last year, and had since got back together. Responding to the rumors, Nicki simply replied, “I wish to reserve my privacy.”
When asked if she bore any grudges against Kevin, she said, “No!”
Niki was also asked if she still kept in touch with Kevin. Niki did not answer the question directly and said, “I wish to reserve my privacy for this question. Anyway, I am happy that he achieved so much success. I do not resist working together again. I will see the script first.” Niki also praised Kevin for being a gentleman.
There were also speculations that Niki ended her last relationship with a textile company heir, Eric Cheuk, after she kept pressing to get married. Niki denied the rumors and expressed that they were only friends. Not wishing to cause any disturbances to him and his family, Niki has now maintained her distance from the textile company heir.
Niki will be collaborating with Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) on new TVB drama, A Good Heart Goes Haywire <好心作怪> soon. When asked if she was worried of romantically rumored with Bosco, Niki answered promptly, “There is only one all along, I am very loyal!”
A victim in love
Niki confessed that her love life had not been smooth sailing, and there were a few times her romance ended because of a third party. Niki was open to share her feelings about her heartbreaking romances, “It hurts every time. It’s not the first time my relationship is intervened by a third party. When I knew about it, I am very furious! I always hide in a corner to cry. When I had calmed down, I realized that it was lucky that I found out and I could get myself out early.”
Niki revealed that trust is important, and she would never spy on her future boyfriend’s phone even though she had bad experiences on her past relationships. She said, “It’s pointless to check. If he intends to cheat on you, he will just delete his messages. I advise all ladies not to do such silly things. Romance is determined by fate!”
Niki Courted by a Clerical Officer
Niki’s friends were all anxious about her love life, and had been introducing men to her. However, Niki felt that such matchmaking sessions were old fashioned and she had urged her friends not to do it anymore. Although her friends had not been successful with their matchmaking sessions, Niki shared that there was once a clerical officer who had courted her aggressively.
“There was a clerical officer guy who tried to woo me. I am not into marrying a rich man, and love transcends beyond ranks. There are not many guys who dare to go after an actress, and I really admire him for that,” said Niki.
Preparing for her sister Kathy Chow’s (周汶錡) wedding at end of the year, Niki disclosed that she hoped to get married before the age of 40. “I am anxious for my sister to have a baby soon. I have never seen her playing the role of a dutiful wife and mother. I also hope to get married before 40! After all, it’s a blessing to have a man take care of me.”
Niki Maintains Good Relationship With TVB
There were speculations earlier that TVB was furious with Niki for signing a management contract with Peter Lam (林建岳) and Richie Ren’s (任賢齊) Mountain Entertainment, as TVB was also interested in signing her. Niki clarified the rumors and stressed that she had prior discussions with TVB executive, Virginia Lok (樂易玲), before making the decision. She reiterated that she had a good working relationship with TVB, in which the company executives were all supportive of her.
Niki also disclosed that she is currently preparing for her music album and would break into the Taiwanese and Chinese market.

just pointing out the discrepancies. coz ppl always quick to say niki is out to get attention, well i just like to say that other women involved with these kevin rumors are probably also playing the same game.
I thought the pic is very terrible but it turns quite normal? Charmaine looks old in this pic but not too old. Maybe just 2-3 years older than her real age. I’ve seen some more terrible pix of her and someone else. There are actresses who are younger than her but look even older than her in this pic.
