Paul Chun, John Chiang, and Derek Yee Appear at Mother’s Funeral

Brothers, Paul Chun (秦沛), John Chiang (姜大偉), and Derek Yee’s (爾冬陞) mother, Hong Wei  (紅薇), formerly known as Luo Zhen (羅珍) died the other day. The funeral was held at Tai Wai Po Fook Memorial Hall yesterday. The three brothers arrived at the funeral home early in the morning to take care of their mother’s funeral arrangements.

At 12 noon, Paul, John, and Derek rode in the hearse, transporting the body to the Fu Shan Crematorium for cremation. The brothers were in grief and were accompanied by John’s daughter, Chiang Yi Lan (姜依蘭) and husband, Raymond Cho (曹永廉). The brother’s friends in the entertainment industry, such as Bao Hei Ching (鮑起靜) and Fong Ping (方平) were among the one hundred people in attendance. After the completion of the ceremony, everyone walked out in sadness. John Chiang’s wife, Lee Lam Lam, required the support of her husband in walking out of the funeral hall.

Paul Chun, John Chiang and Derek Yee were half-brothers, sharing the same mother but different fathers. After Paul and John’s father passed away, Hong Wei remarried and gave birth to Derek Yee. Paul Chun was a stage name. Paul and John’s stepfather was Derek’s father.
