Philip Ng and Moon Lau Win Trophies at Yahoo! Asia Buzz Awards

The force of A Fist Within Four Walls <城寨英雄> is not stopping anytime soon. After winning premier awards in Singapore, Malaysia, and on Sunday’s TVB Anniversary Awards, the drama took up a few more trophies on Monday’s Yahoo! Asia Buzz Awards 2016, a popularity ceremony celebrating the most popular and most-searched entertainment-related programs of the year.

A Fist Within Four Walls stars Philip Ng (伍允龍) and Moon Lau (劉佩玥) won Most Popular On-Screen Couple, defeating many other popular favorites. The duo said this was their first on-screen couple award, and are grateful for the love they received from fans.

Moon said, “We can feel the love from both online and offline, and I’m happy that the warmth still hasn’t dissipated yet. Very happy!” (If you get together in real life, your shippers will be very happy!) “We have to separate drama and real life.”

Philip also insisted that he and Moon are only good friends, but is happy that their coupling is well-liked among fans. “That means we’ve done well.” Moon added that the reason why they could maintain their relationship for this long was because they are very close friends. Asking Philip if there is a possibility that they would become more than just friends in the future, Philip said, “Nothing is impossible in this world, but right now? No.”

Philip and Moon weren’t the only Four Walls couple to bring home trophies. Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) won Most Popular Male TV Artiste, Nancy Wu (胡定欣) won Most Popular Female TV Artiste, and their OST for the drama “Never Know You Are the Best” <從未知道你最好> won Most Popular TV Drama Duet. Four Walls also won Most Popular TV Drama.

When the topic of Christmas was brought up, Philip shared that he will be filming a scene with martial arts actor Donnie Yen (甄子丹) in the upcoming movie Chasing the Dragon <追龍>. Philip, who recently injured his right hand, said, “I’m not fully healed yet. I hurt my hand on December 1, and it takes at least 35 days to heal. I did shoot some action scenes yesterday. I tried to use my left hand and feet as much as I could.”

      1. @loveruco he’s a very very sad butthurt loser with no life than to hate and be jealous about other people’s success. He’s especially butthurt cos he shot his own butt this time. oooohhhhhhh i can’t imagine his pain, poor asses (referring to both the person and his butt).

      2. @isay
Ya. Just leave him alone to lick his wounds. He is not worth our or anybody’s time. Better to send our time supporting Ruco.

      3. @loveruco uncle kai chi, alex fong are veterans….they won’t get best actor award. it’s time to promote the younger artistes now. actors like carol cheng, liza wang, wayne lai, roger kwok etc are already superstars. they don’t need such awards.
