Raymond Lam and Karena Ng Plan Skiing Trip
Raymond Lam (林峯) and Karena Ng (吳千語) have been dating for three years, and their relationship is becoming stronger by the day. The 14-year gap between 21-year-old Karena and 35-year-old Raymond does not seem to be an obstacle in their relationship. Since admitting their relationship, the two often demonstrated their mutual affection through high-profile gestures.
Two days ago, Raymond and Karena were spotted shopping for ski equipment. Approached by the press, the barefaced Karena immediately put on a pair of sunglasses and excused herself saying she had some work commitments to get to. Nevertheless, Raymond remained and chatted amicably with the reporter, talking about his lack of luck in finding the right ski equipment.
Asked about his holiday plans, Raymond said, “We’ll be skiing in 2015, as I still have to work the next few days.”
Raymond was then asked if he would be surprising Karena with a romantic proposal on the ski slopes. He replied in amusement, “No, there will not be any surprises! We are going on the ski trip with other friends. I am not thinking about marriage at the moment, as my career is still the top priority.”
Having left TVB and signed with Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG) for HKD $100 million, Raymond appears to have started distancing himself from TVB altogether. He did not attend the 2014 TVB Anniversary Awards ceremony despite his nomination for TV King. Raymond also excused his absence at TVB’s Jade Solid Gold Music Awards,, “I haven’t even released a single album or new song the entire year.”
Speaking about his plans for 2015, Raymond said that he will release an album as well as appear in more Mainland dramas.

I don’t believe Raymond is trying to distance himself from TVB. They still interview him and on the day of the TVB anniversary award, he have another job and he haven’t release new album in the past two years, he is not attending any Hong Kong music ceremony.

in time to come, the 14 year gap will be obvious…if they get married. personally there is a generation difference. karena is young and when she is mature, Raymond will be even more mature.

Actually, Raymond Lam is not really that OLD yet in real life but he does look quite haggard and beat up these days on most of his photos. Also b/c g/f is so young, he does have this UNCLE feel next to her. The attraction is still simple thou. Rich and NOT AN UGLY OLD MAN. In terms of the age gap, lots of the age gaps are there in showbiz couples. Example, Hawick Lau and that new wife of his but he does not look old even at 40 and that woman does not look that young. Also Roger Kwok, quite noticeable too at first but after kids, OK looking now. So what do you know, perhaps after popping out few kids, they will look perfect together? ahah..LOL.. The media just love to dig up any of their news thou more than any other couple.
Raymond is NOT old…he’s only in his 30s. But keeping up with a young girl makes him appear tired. Maybe due to her penchant for luxury products and active lifestyle.
