Performing in Macau , Raymond Lam Fung invited Kate Tsui Chi San and Ron Ng Cheuk Hei as guest performers. Due to businessman, Charles Chanovertaking Shaw Brothers as the new majority owner at TVB, reporters asked Raymond whether the declining influence of Mona Fong meant losing a strong supporter? Raymond said that there was no one backing him up, but TVB was his biggest “back-up.” Raymond maintained that he has not privately seen Ms. Fong. Amidst the new transfer in ownership, Raymond felt that artists will be impacted the least.
Kate Tsui denied that TVB’s new boss, Charles Chan, was her rumored boyfriend. She maintained that she did not know Mr. Chan and has never met him in the past. A recent tabloid claimed that Kate will be crowned TVB’s Best Actress this year due to her alleged relationship with Mr. Chan. Kate laughed over the claims and pointed out that if the rumors were true, she would not have to work so hard. Since the rumors were false, she will not be embarrassed upon meeting Mr. Chan.

Jayne: The costumes from Raymond Lam’s concert looks very similar to his earlier Hong Kong concert which took place in the summer. Kate’s costume was exactly the same. Pretty sure the fans in Macau have seen the media coverage from earlier…is it that expensive to get some new costumes?

Jayne, the theme of the concert in macau is Come2me, which is an extension of last yr’s concert in HK. Thus the costumes and highlight of the 2 concerts are similar.
Nope, the Macau concerts are always like that. It’s just the same as the concert the singers do in Hongkong, rundown, outfits and guests. Might have some changes but 90% the same. That’s why they call Macau concert as part 2 of the concert in HK.
