Jayne, “Bai Co” has become my favorite Bosco character and my favorite work of him to date. It gives him more room to explore the character and develop his nuance, thus why Bosco also mentioned he thanked the producer for giving him this opportunity to be “Bai Co”. What a pity that the characterizations and plot can actually be written better by the screenwriters.

Kidd, Taiwan TV industry environment are different. It’s a norm for the artistes there to “play young” and girls will still go oh-la-la upon them since the artistes are “cute”.
TBB has a different environment. It will be awkward to watch the current siu sangs still playing college boys or energetic youth. Besides those roles can be used to nurture the newcomers. Mc Jin, Adrian Chau and Daniel Chau can take over these cute, energetic young roles now..haha.

Like how diplomatic and open-ended Myolie’s statement is. For her, it’s not about money, but rather the contract terms. She did not mention if she likes or dislikes TVB’s contract terms. So, we will never really know if she’s happy or unhappy with being in TVB. However, she also recognizes that she owes a lot from TVB. TVB has helped groomed her talent and paid her salary throughout the years. I think Myolie is still grateful for TVB grooming and paying her. She knows not to bite the hand that feeds her. I do think that eventually she’ll move on from TVB. Either to movies or the mainland. It’s not being ungrateful or selfish. It’s about leaving the nest and expanding your horizons. When you move out of your parent’s home, it’s not because you’re ungrateful or had an unhappy home. It’s because you want to broaden your horizons and garner more life experience.

I dont think 620 will leave/resign from tvb. I mean how can a company just fired their staff w/o a solid reason right? No company will do that, although 620 only promote those she likes and segregate those she didnt favor, she still hasn’t breach her employement’s rules as stipulated in her contract or whatsover. Tvb probably will just replace her with Catherine as reported and put 620 to do other things.. so chances of seeing 620 off tvb is slim unless she volunter to resign.

Yeah. It’s funny how people complain how characters in TVB are two black and white, either only good or evil and no between. Yet, people are too quick to judge an artist for supporting VL as bad and anyone who rebels against VL as good. There’s no in between for them. Ironic eh? There’s maybe more to the story about the management that we don’t know? At the end of the day, we can’t trust everything the news tells us.
For the beginning few months, everyone will watch City Telecom programs, whether can have a good rating is hard to predict. If city telecom is doing well, the one that Ricky poaches will ultimately call up Ricky for discussion, by that time Ricky will lay a terms and condition upon the artist. a lot of artists wanted to joined the new company but there r not sure whether CT can do better than TVB.
I think Bosco was good in LOO acting as the dark, evil Bai Co but on the other hand I think he was also good playing comedy roles with Myolie and Lisa Wang. That drama about Lisa being the awful mother-in-law. I still think Bosco has that boyish look about him and so it doesn’t matter whether he plays younger roles or not as long as he improves on his acting.
I love that Mao Chun/Bat Lau Ming character, but when I look clearly, he becomes shallow in comparison to the dark, deeper Bai Co.

That’s a little dismissive. Gregory Lee was featured in front page HK headlines from June to August 2011. I don’t think he simply contact. If you look at the artists, they are all TVB first and 2nd line actors.
Some of them are still supporting actors like Chris lai, Angela Tong and Candie.
A series need supporting actors too and actors like Chris Lai and Angela Tong also has a lot of fans.
Remember Angela Tong became uber well know because of that ugly role? And then she got to be leading lady next to Bobby, and I believe she crashed and burn in that series? From kelefe to supporting to lead to supporting again. That must have hurt.

Nobody tune into a series to look at supporting. Someone must headline it. Someone must lead. Of course the lead can’t lead alone with help from others. But if the lead is engaging enough, imagine all 30 episodes of one man show. Quite a possibility, like 3 hours of Tom Hanks on a deserted island with a volleyball as his supporting actor.
to me supporting are actually more important for the quality of a series overall.
ofcourse there will be people who only cares about the leads and that’s why they are important as well.

I happened to watch the majority of “Threshold of a Persona” but was disappointed in the direction of the drama, in which it took too long to build up on the relationships between the people and nothing truly happened.
