Raymond Lam Fung, Kenneth Ma Kwok Ming, Tavia Yeung Yi, and Bernice Liu Bik Yee attended a party celebrating The Mysteries of Love’s <談情說案> high ratings. Earlier, Raymond accidentally injured his left hand while working out at the gym. He attended a physical therapy session earlier in the day, thus leading to his late arrival at the celebration party.
Raymond protested that Tavia was spreading rumors about him not treating the cast and crew to meals. Raymond said that he often treated, while Kenneth Ma never did. Kenneth protested loudly and told Raymond not to frame him. Raymond said he was not trying to point out Kenneth’s stinginess, but rather praise his own virtues.
Regarding the claims that The Mysteries of Love plagiarized Japanese drama, Detective Galileo, Tavia said that she was not concerned about the comparison. She was happy about The Mysteries of Love’s stellar ratings. If the producer decides to film a sequel, Tavia felt that the current ending for The Mysteries of Love was satisfactory and hopes to create a completely new story instead. Perhaps the production will even influence Japanese dramas to film an adapted version!

Jayne: The likelihood of a sequel to The Mysteries of Love (with a different story) seems very high. TVB likes to reproduce the same ratings magic by using the same cast members, script writers to create another sequel.

Funn, ‘Twins of Brothers’ rating was not good in HK. I believe it was below 30? But, I know for sure ‘Lethal Weapon’ was only about 26 points.
I wouldn’t mind another sequel with FungYi but with a different storyline. Is it just me or Raymond looks really old and tired in that pic with Tavia-still hot, but tired. Although I do hate Tavia’s short hair, she looks quite refresh in this pic.
Fungyi is the perfect couple in Hong Kong..so many ppl like to see them as couple hope will be another sequel but must be Fungyi as couple or husband and wife..cheers!!
I actually concur with opinions that Raymond is a phenomenon. He has the best future among everyone else his age in TVB. Even TVB producers in their interview approve that Raymond is the one who will explode the most with his well rounded talent, warmness likeability and handsome prince charming image. He has a perfect package to succeed. and are from years ago but we are talking about now, about . Besides to hold a HK Coliseum concert isn’t a simple matter and the first one was a success. That alone shows Raymond indeed has the best achievements.
To hold a HK Coliseum concert used to be every singer’s dream. In the past, you have to be well established, work for years in the industry and gain a certain status before you can hold a concert in HK Coliseum. It’s not the case anymore now. Many young singers have already hold concert in HK Coliseum. Justin Lo held a concert in HK Coliseum just after releasing one album. In fact, Paco already booked the HK Coliseum for him even before he release his debut album. So, I don’t think holding a concert in HK Coliseum is that big a deal anymore.
But, I agree that, among the TVB siu sangs that TVB are promoting, Raymond is the most successful.
Yes the point is Raymond is the most successful out of the siu sangs and leading by way too far. Some of the others even disappear from the limelight.
Its not that hard to hold a Coliseum now, but one must have immense popularity first before having one. Raymond’s upcoming concert had EEG adding another night because of the high sales. They would’ve make it 4 nights show has the Coliseum schedule is not full.
Hm.. Maybe Kenneth IS really frugal. Let’s remind ourselves that he was reported to have only spent $30HKD that one day..
Majority of the cast deserves the success. The series? Not so much. As for this event, I can only think about liking Tavia’s blouse. It’s something I’d totally wear.
I hope the producer got a hint from the high ratings, I look forward to a sequel of MOL with all the leads in tact!
