Ron Ng Will Never Date Kelly Fu
Like his character Issac Tong, Ron Ng (吴卓羲) has matured over the ten years since 2003’s Triumph in the Skies <衝上雲霄>. Although he is still a magnet for rumors, he has since learnt to be more level-headed in handling them.
While Jayden Koo (Chilam Cheung 张智霖) and Roy (Kenneth Ma 馬國明) get to enjoy intimate moments with several women in the drama, Issac is surprisingly lacking of such moments. Denying he is envious of the other two actors, Ron said, “This time I’m considered lucky. Those scenes are left to Kenneth and Chilam. Myolie and I only hugged. I personally won’t reject filming intimate scenes but it is best only if the series calls for it. Maybe Chilam has requested for such scenes, I don’t know, but I didn’t specially request for them.”
Ron’s Issac is the sidekick who often helps Jayden with his romantic troubles instead. While Ron often has his own set of love problems in real life, he would not ask his friends help him. His friends would not ask for his help either.
Rumor Magnet
Although Ron managed to dodge rumors while filming in China, they came back full-force when filming Triumph in the Skies 2 <衝上雲霄 2>. Although Ron was linked with costar Kelly Fu (傅嘉莉), he said the coupling is impossible. “I asked her about the report. She said that the reporters have distorted the truth, as she did not say those things. Anyway, we never got in touch after filming wrapped up. We only met once but it was with a bunch of other actors and crew.” To end the rumor once and for all, Ron added firmly, “She and I never dated. We are not dating now and we will not date in the future.”
Perhaps TVB had learnt its lesson from Beauty At War <金枝慾孽貳>. Before the release of Triumph in the Skies 2, TVB repeated the telecast of the original drama not long ago. With Francis Ng (吴镇宇) and Chilam Cheung in the series, Ron believes the drama will surely do well. Ron said, “The whole drama is filled with good-looking people and beautiful scenery from around the world. I have confidence.”

After spending a considerable amount of time filming in China, Ron has managed to save enough money to buy himself a 1,000 square feet plus unit in Hong Kong luxury residence, Bellagio, that is worth more than $9 million HKD.
Though China offers infinite earning possibilities as well as a more comfortable lifestyle, Ron hopes to continue filming for TVB. He will be filming another series for TVB at the end of the year.

Who is Kelly Fu? I don’t remember seeing her before. She looks young. Ron sounds very definite that he will never date her in the future. Maybe she’s too stick thin for his taste. I mean look at Viann and Ella voluptous figures. It’s too bad that both relationship didn’t end well among Ron and them. I heard that Ella still dislikes Ron.
The series that Ron will be filming at the end of the year is called Vinegar Lady, starring Myolie.
I believe Kelly play the waitress girl that’s gonna fall in love with Ron in Triumph in the Skies 2, but he loves Myolie instead. I thought Vinegar Lady stars Myolie and Him Law?
yes ron will be in vinegar along with myolie and him law and filming starts november! guess there will be a love triangle since this series is an epic love story with both elements of heavy drama and light hearted funny side!
I wouldn’t consider Ella voluptuous… but she is the conventional image of gorgeous like Viann. They are both Asian Barbie dolls.
Kelly Fu is decent looking but she has a different type of appeal.
He’s also filming another drama now with Roger and Kristal.
I’m sure he will have no trouble finding a suitable partner once he’s willing to, he’s to nothing to worry about. I’m not basing this on his physical appearance but based on how he responds to the media and interact with ppl whether its his co workers or fans he seems pretty outgoing and quite chatty.
Ouch for Kelly. I guess that means Ron is outright saying ‘No’ to Kelly’s agency. Obviously they are trying to promote Kelly through rumors with Ron and that displeases him.
Sigh… I hope Ron will get the opportunity to lead in a series again, perhaps a small 20 episodes series?

I’ve been thinking why Ron been so FIRM and kinda harsh in his reply but after I read your comment, I must agree that this may be a tactic from Kelly’s side trying to gain publicity for her.
I mean if we recall her interviews previously, she DID hinted that she and Ron are indeed a couple, just wait for Ron to announce it and many times in her interviews she gives others the impression that she is CLOSE with Ron and Ron is courting her, which Ron DENIED in all his interviews.
I think he will because he’s getting a lot of goodwill from TITS2

That’s what I was thinking, and Ron wants to end the rumors right away, especially since his reputation took a hit with all the other negative rumors about him.
Ron will be leading in Vinegar Lady in Nov. since he’s paired up with Myolie.
What series he filmed in China??
The only one I’ve seen is Pretty Maid but that was a couple years ago. He’s been in a couple of others that has yet to be released.

The ironic thing is that I think Ron would have been much better at “sexy” scenes than Kenneth. Although Ron is typically wooden in his acting, he has a confidence that Kenneth doesn’t have.
Some articles in the HK media mentioned that Kenneth’s character in part 2 doesn’t gel with his goody-two-shoe pilot trainee in part 1. And I agree, Ron is more suited for Kenneth’s role. The producers could spin a story that after Donald and Zita ended up together, heartbroken Ron decided to play the field. It would have made more sense.
although we thought ron was no longer popular it seems ron is still very popular with producers and he will be filming tvb series back to back again
