Ruco Chan and Linda Chung to Perform in San Francisco
Dubbed one of TVB’s most eligible bachelors, Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) expressed his wishes of finding a girlfriend soon. With Valentine’s Day approaching closely, many single artistes are being asked about their holiday plans. In a radio interview with Nancy Sit (薛家燕), Ruco revealed that his Valentine’s Day plan includes working in San Francisco and Las Vegas with Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣).
Although Linda was previously romantically linked to Ruco, the actor brushed the allegations once again. Not worried about causing rumors for this Valentine’s Day, Ruco laughed, “The rumor will eventually die off. I don’t regret the rumors because now I get to do a show with her.” When prompted that Linda is now single, Ruco said, “I don’t know, but it’s great that we can work together again.”
While Ruco has been linked with various female artistes in the past, many of the speculations went away once filming was completed. Having kept a relatively private life, Ruco surprisingly admitted that he does wish to find a girlfriend soon. “I do have the need – dating is very normal. I wouldn’t want to become a monk, would I?”
When asked how he would spend Lunar New Year, Ruco said it will depend upon TVB’s arrangements. “I may need to film a variety show. I’ll see if I need to film for it.” Asked if he would prefer to earn money or enjoy free time during the holidays, Ruco said, “Of course, I prefer to earn money. There’s never enough money. Although it’s important to film dramas, but it always dominates over opportunities for concert performances. So I prefer to work and earn some money during the holidays, to save up for buying a house.”

I think Linda breakup with Philip might be a little bit to do with Ruco..well who doesn’t want handsome Ruco..maybe they’re secretly together…actors always lies.
@lucida I dont think they are tog. It was reported that they had a fallout in New Zealand. Although he denied it, it is pretty obvious that Linda is very cold towards him and they dont even talk to each other when they were seated together unlike how they used to be so friendly and comfortable with each other before the news of their fallout.
@rucolove I hope he finds someone he loves…although I would be sad. But at 39, I think he is at a marriageable age. There are better girls than Linda Chung.

Whoever gets Ruco is such a lucky girl. IMO, he’s the epitome of the perfect boyfriend/husband. He’s such a sweet, genuine, sincere guy. Plus talented, sporty, great physique and good looking. What more can you ask for???
@lml1977 he’s freakin’ hot and sexy! Plus filial to mom (which makes him a good family man) plus he’s a dog lover ( which means he has a soft spot for animals and is a kind man) ooohh the list goes on……….who’s the lucky woman to win his heart? Hope it’s Linda, they really look good together.
@isay and @janet72: Yes, Ruco is so damn hot and sexy. He just gets better with age. I love this filial piety and animal-loving thing in him too. He is just so sweet and nice. And he has a good recording voice and his singing live (as seen in YT) is awesome too !!
As to who he dates/marries in future, I’ll be happy for him and jealous/envious of that girl !!! Hope he finds someone really nice.
@lml1977 Ruco is not going to get married any time soon. In his previous interviews, he claimed he won’t get married until he wins every single award. It’s clear he aiming for TV King award. The TV King title is the most he cares about!
@unknown: Ruco needs to date a couple of years before he gets married. He didn’t explicitly say he wants to win every award before he gets married. Think he said (words to that effect) that he prioritizes work before romance since he isn’t dating now but he sure wants to date. He said since he hasn’t won TV King yet means there’s still room for improvement in his acting. Anyway, IMO, he is deserving of the TV King award…it’s TVB politics that’s eluding him of the award.
@unknown i’m still head over heels for ruco. at 39, he still has lots of room. as for claims about not getting married, it’s hard to tell.
i hope he wins TV king asap.
nancy can win tv queen with that lousy role, although she is not a lousy actress.

@janet72: Ruco is like fine wine…gets better and better with age. Do you mean he looks better now than when he re-joined TVB in 2008? He looks good in The Other Truth shown in 2011 (probably filmed in 2010), but even better now with a more toned and tanned hot body. I really loved The Other Truth. How I wished TVB made a sequel…

Here’s some interesting information about the people sponsoring and promoting this concert in San Francisco. Those people are being sued by others for scamming people out of their investments in the Ruco and Linda’s concert. Terrible business. Watch out. More people are coming forward about this type of scam.

@freedalas Ruco’s type is most likely sporty and sexy. Linda is dressing very sexily these days. They look very compatible. Praying for romance to blossom on their trip together especially over Valentine’s Day.
@freedalas i think sexy types and wife material type of women appeal differently to men. besides, some sexy types may not want to settle down to be wives and mums and lose their figures. ruco is so hot and upbeat…linda is very bland even though she dresses differently now.

@janet72: Ankie is sexy and good looking. She did expressed her interest in Ruco and they did go out on a date. But after that their relationship just died a natural death after filming of BK ended. Ankie is too westernized for Ruco I think. Linda is also westernized (as in raised in Vancouver, English speaking etc) but at least she’s still more traditional than Ankie. And Linda has the goody-2-shoe image…the type you want to marry and bring home to show your mum.

I also like Ruco with Linda… I think they will make a really cute couple…Linda can be bland but she seem “real” and simple.. so I like that about her.
