Selena Li Sze Wan and Myolie Wu Hang Yee appeared at TVB’s pay-per-view movie, Jerry Maguire. Selena revealed that she normally cooked Chinese entrees and was not as familiar with creating desserts. Asked whether her good cooking skills meant she was ready to get married, Selena exclaimed, “I am not dating anyone now!”
How did Selena spend her Valentine’s Day this year? Selena smiled and said that perhaps other men thought she had plans, but she only stayed home and spent Valentine’s Day by herself. However, she received flowers and gifts [from her admirers].
Jayne: Since the opening of her make-up school, Selena Li has been looking lovelier. Last year, there were rumors that Kenneth Ma was interested in Selena. I do see the chemistry between them, but Selena seems to also hint she has a lot of admirers. And Kenneth said he was still looking for “Ms. Right” so looks like they are only friends.

I would really like her and Kenneth to be together! They would make a great couple! Selena has always had a very sweet, feminine look and I like her acting, too. Too bad she doesn’t get as promoted as Linda, Kate, or Fala. I hope she can get a breakthrough role soon and she is overdue for the “Most Improved” award.
When the actresses say that they have admirers, I really wonder who they may be-male colleagues from TVB, or maybe affluent professionals or rich men, their friends outside of the industry, or maybe crazy fanatics that fantasize being with them? Hmm…just curious.:)
I always though of Selena as being very pretty, but perhaps her “look” is not popular like the others? It’s a shame, I also think that she’s a consistent actress. I agree that she seems to fit well with Kenneth with regards to looks and personality, but I guess it’s not enough for a love compatibility…unfortunately happens all the time for me haha
@aly, like you, I’m also curious about who the majority of these admirers are. I think you’ve got a good list of possibilities haha. An attractive and sweet woman like Selena is bound to have many admirers.
i like to see her without her make up. If she still looks good, she deserves a cute bf.
She has a youtube account called “selenabeautytips” where she puts up makeup tutorials so if you watch her videos you can see her bare face! =)

I remember watching her interview with the guys on TV and she is VERY popular amongst the guys. They all seem attracted to her and I can see why. In person she is very pretty and lady like. I think she has a few admirers!
@Funn, thanks for sharing this observation. The entertainment industry is filled with people from all walks of life, some well educated, some not so well educated, some with hard partying and recreational drug habits, some money hungry and will do anything to push their fame higher.
Apparently it is hard to find single actresses “pure of heart” with a good, clean background. Selena comes across as a friendly, graceful, and intelliegent women with good people connections. Hehe if I were a guy, I think I would like her type as well.
Absolutely. I think Selena is a really great person, very down-to-earth and genuine. She also seems very smart – by finishing her Business degree and keeping her options open with the opening of her beauty school. It’s a pity that TVB won’t promote her more, because I find her acting so much more natural and a pleasure to watch. Her and Nancy are two very underrated actresses in TVB imo, and could both easily out-act some of the “fa dans”.

I think it is precisely because TVB didn’t promote her much that she has time to finish her degree and opening a beauty school.
If TVB really promotes her, TVB will be working her like a horse. She won’t even have time to sleep.
@ Kidd. Naturally, but if TVB was promoting her, she would know that they are invested in her. They didn’t, so kudos to her for covering her bases and having other options if acting doesn’t pan out for her.
I totally agree with all of you. Like you, I’m also a Selena fan. I totally love Kenneth and her together especially in AFOS. They’re totally cute. I think this year is a year for her to shine as she already took on 2 lead roles. I hope this means TVB is promoting her.
