Sharon Chan’s Boyfriend Minds Her Intimate Scenes In “Queens of Diamonds and Hearts”

Sharon Chan (陳敏之) and Fala Chen (陳法拉) promoted their new TVB drama, Queens of Diamonds and Hearts <東西宮略>, yesterday at a radio station. In its first week of broadcast, the drama averaged 28 points in ratings, peaking at 30 points, with approximately 2.05 million viewers watching in Hong Kong. Sharon revealed that her boyfriend felt uncomfortable after watching her seductive scenes in the drama.
Due to Sharon’s seductive character as “Ha Ying Chun,” she will have intimate scenes opposite emperor, Roger Kwok ( 郭晉安) in Queens of Diamonds and Hearts. Sharon will feed Roger grapes with her mouth, as well as share bed scenes with him. Sharon indicated that her boyfriend of 7 years, Lui Wai Shun (雷偉信) watched every episode of her new drama, but felt uncomfortable towards her intimate scenes. Sharon told On.cc, “He would frown while watching, as he did not like to see me in this manner. He had this type of reaction because he loves me. As a man, he does mind my [intimate scenes]. Earlier, when he watched Ghetto Justice <怒火街頭>, he did not like my revealing scenes either! However, he fully supports the drama and me as an artist.”
While Fala’s facial birthmark in Queens of Diamonds and Hearts was a topic of lively online discussion, in which some netizens claimed that her appearance was not ugly enough as “Chung Mo Yim,” the actress revealed earlier that the producer of the drama intentionally did not wish Fala’s character to appear too grotesque, as Queens of Diamonds and Hearts was broadcast during family dinner time. An overly grotesque image was avoided in order to not repulse the audience.
Although everyone focused on Fala’s appearance in Queens of Diamonds and Hearts, she personally questioned how her boyfriend, Daniel Sit (薛世恒), would react to her tomboyish demeanor in the show. Daniel found the series to be very humorous and enjoyed watching it.

I watched like 5 eps of this and it was crap.
Fala’s acting was awful. Her exaggerated expression was unbearable, oh and her lag in speaking Cantonese bugs me.
Heck im even willing to say even the extras were better actors then her
Fala cant do comedy, she can pass (barely) on “serious roles” as she doesn’t have to do much expressions

I disagree with you. I think her acting is good compare to a lot of artist. tvb got loads of ****** artist now and she is actually consider good.
I’m not a fan of Fala but i’m watching it because it lame funny something to watch while i’m bored lol. Sharon is quite good in this series n glad she got a lead role.
Fala did horribly in CMY, doesn’t look righteous or courages enough. And she’s still looking pretty despite having that “tiny” birthmark, really doesn’t anything like the series is about Chong Mo Yim at all. The best is Roger i think, he’s quite funny in there and Sharon with makeup on is really pretty. Btw, is Sharon w/o makeup in the above pic? she looks tired.
Fala doesn’t convince me she’s Chung Mo Yim. This is also isn’t Sharon’s best work. She’s not convincing enough as Ha Ying Chun either
this is party of comedy so why take it so seriou? if you don’t like it then don’t watch it.

I’m glad for Sharon too that she finally got to lead. However, her performance is still pretty mediocre like those 2nd line actress’ capability. Sharon is lack of emotion, evilness and her seduction is too unconvincing not natural. I guess the best there is Roger kwok. he’s funny.
I think Fala can do comedy, but I’m not a big fan of exagerrated comedy, and they always end up with a turn for the dramatic, so I skipped out on this one after watching the first episode. But it is quite fuunny, especially Roger’s character. I quite like the naivité of Koni Lui’s character…wonder how she’ll fall for Louis? But I think Ben Wong will turn evil, byy the way Roger treats him…emm…see turn for the dramatic…
Ok, this drama does not sound good since they are making a serious story into a comedy. That is not a good thing to do.
I have no problem with that, my problem is Sharon and Fala should switch roles.
Was her topless running scene in ghetto justice really filmed in the streets? And was she wearing a green top or something and then photoshopped?

Sharon did not film the “nude running” scene herself. It was done by a stunt double. I can’t tell if the stunt double was truly a woman or a man though.

The true indication of love for me is her boyfriend still supporting her career and her series despite not like some more titillating scenes, not, because he was upset about the scenes.
