Sheren Tang is Not Good in Business
After displeasure in working with TVB, Sheren Tang (鄧萃雯) ventured out and worked independently. Complaining of filming dramas without a complete script, Sheren’s criticisms last year during the airing of Beauty at War <金枝慾孽(貳)> brought to light TVB’s long-time poor practices. Sheren was subsequently not included in the filming of Rosy Business 3 <巾幗梟雄之諜血長天> despite winning critical acclaim in the first two installments.
With the station’s declining ratings, TVB has been inviting veteran artistes such as Kent Tong (湯鎮業) and Anthony Wong (黃秋生) to film for upcoming drama, The Hero <梟雄>. However, Sheren refused to comment on the rumors that TVB lacked artistes and had to use their friendship cards to invite veterans back.
On June 21, Sheren volunteered for a community supermarket as a cashier for the day, attracting many onlookers and bringing business into the store. Having to handle moving boxes and stocking supplies, Sheren was surprised at the amount of work cashiers have to do every day. Although this was not her first time manning the cash register, Sheren was still worried about giving back the wrong change.
After a day of work, Sheren stated that community supermarkets were a good idea, and that they offer products at a more affordable price for consumers. Despite successfully attracting a large crowd, Sheren would not consider opening a business nor would she invest in one. “I’m really bad at doing business. I’ll just be in the way, and make the business go bankrupt. However, I’m more than willing to help communities with their promotions.”

She’s indeed a talented actress. Hope she does better elsewhere, it’s known fact that there are a lot of constraints working with tvb. But since there are more competitions elsewhere maybe they’ll start to treat their existing staff better.

I don’t see any difference in her, except she looks more radiant. Maybe she had enough rest and not tired. Sometimes I felt my skin looks better after my menstrual and especially if I really have sound sleep. Not sure if this applies to others or not..

I have the same opinion. She certainly looks younger & more youthful than before!
It’s the makeup.
1. she’s happy and happiness does that to people
2. she’s wearing make up and good quality ones
3. the lightning and camera was good
4. she is naturally youthful as she grows older.
You can’t be serious abt no. 4. I admire the optimism of some people who think (good quality) make up can turn the clock back at least 10 yrs.
Am serious. Some people look old when they were young and when they reach a certain age, somehow the looks and age align perfectly. But I do think she is a happy contented woman therefore she glows. Or the weather was hot and she was sweating. She does look like she has put on some good make up and highlighter and concealer and the whole thing. Make up can turn ugly people pretty and pretty people gorgeous. It is not optimism but fact.
I really admire your optimism! Hear hear, everyone shld invest in good makeup and give botox, fillers and plastic surgery the boot.

One of the most professional and forthright actress I have seen but could be light hearted, not to take things seriously all the time and have a sense of humor like Jonah in the whale’s stomach blah. Pretty woman too.

She’s a great actress and it’s unfortunate that they replaced her with Myolie in the 3rd installment.
In fact, TVB does not treat their artists well but in Hong Kong, there aren’t many competitors (limited to only TVB and ATV). But now, since ATV doesn’t have production, many artists such as Joey Meng moved over to TVB. They should really give a license to HKTV so at least there’s some competition so TVB can really try to make better dramas!!!

I think the original script writer for RB1 and 2 also left. All of the great Lee Tim Shing’s series had him as the script writer.
I like Myolie, but it’s not Rosy Business without Wayne AND Sheren. Sheren looks great here.
yea I know what you mean! i like myolie too. since rosy business and no regrets gathered such high ratings, if rosy business 3 isn’t that well-received, its going to be really pressuring on myolie. wish sheren was in rosy business 3. i wish TVB was more open to criticism and found more ways to improve the quality of their tv productions. tvb seems so juvenile now, like putting the wrong flag in the background for the world cup? omg. please do your research and match the right flags to the referred country.
Sheren is one of a few 80s actresses that I never grow tired of watching. Looking at the photo, I still find her attracted than those nowadays-young actresses.

Bet she has done something to her face. But no big deal as who hasn’t had done it anyway in the entertainment industry. As long as the botox is not affecting her expressions, or causing her to look happy when she is supposed to be acting sad then it is fine with me.
I feel it is alright to maintain youthful but please not to change the looks. Don’t like to see too many “twin sisters/brothers” of some artists in the same industry.
