Shu Qi Finally Admits Relationship With Stephen Fung?

Shu Qi (舒淇) may have silently admitted to her relationship with rumored boyfriend Stephen Fung (馮德倫). The actress recently shared a photo of Stephen at home with her beloved cat, causing wide speculations that the couple is finally letting the secret out of the closet.

Shu Qi and Stephen may share one of the longest on-and-off relationships in the entertainment industry. Meeting in 1997, the two have been rumored numerous times over the past seventeen years. Even though both had dated other A-list colleagues throughout their careers, the two seem to always return to each other when a romance ends.

With their former loves, Karen Mok (莫文蔚), Vivian Hsu (徐若瑄), and Leehom Wang (王力宏), all settled down and tied the knot, Shu Qi and Stephen’s ambiguous relationship once again found its way back into the spotlight. Over the Lunar New Year, the two were seen together at Shu Qi’s hotel, remaining for an extended period of time. Although this prompted speculations about their reconciliation, the two seemed hesitant to speak about details. When pressed about the incident this month, Shu Qi stated that she and Stephen are old friends who have little chance of creating new romantic sparks. Stephen however admitted that he had met up with Shu Qi and shared a meal.

Keeping mum about their romance status for nearly two decades, Shu Qi seemed to have had a change of heart and decided to go public. Active on social media, she frequently shares her thoughts and daily life online. On Instagram in particular, Shu Qi often posts photos of her travels, meals, and most of all her cat May May Boy. Clearly a cat lover, her album contains more photos of May May Boy than those of herself.

Which is why fans were pleasantly shocked when she uploaded a photo of Stephen eating dinner with her cat on March 25. A normal at-home photo, Stephen is seen staring into May May Boy’s eyes as he was about to take a bite of his food. The accompanying caption reads, “Men’s dinner”.

Shu Qi’s account exploded with fans’ comments soon after. Many congratulated the two on their reunion and sent in their blessings, some even urged them to get married. However, neither Shu Qi nor Stephen have spoken up about this photo thus far, and Shu Qi has resumed sharing May May Boy’s beauty shots on Instagram without further comment.

      1. Yuaida,

Here in America we called it “save the best for last”

  2. I wish her well. Pity how people judge her for her soft core past and thinks that she isn’t good enough for her rumored bfs like leon and lee hom. Who are we to judge?

  3. The citizens of Asia need to let go and let this woman be. They are no better than Shu Qi.

Shu Qi did not date Lee Hom. She hung out with him, travelled and shopped with him. She was like a buddy or sister to him. Leon she dated.

It could be that these two are letting the world slowly learn the true extent of their relationship.

    1. Wow trini, you sounded like you know sq personally! Otherwise, how do you know for sure with lee hom it was rumors and with leon it was real?

      1. edchen,
I don’t know about Lee Hom, but she did dated Leon for a few years that’s the fact.

      2. I would say Trini knows more about Lee Hom than that of Shu Qi. You could see it since the first comment he posted on Lee Hom’s scandal up to now.

  4. maybe they might get married soon that’s why she started posting pictures of them together.
