Stefan Wong to Hold Second Wedding in Hong Kong
TVB actor, Stefan Wong (黃長興), and his wife, Peggy, tied the knot in France last August. The wedding, attended by 70 close relatives and friends, was held in a vineyard village in the countryside. Stefan expressed that he spent nearly half a year to plan the romantic, fairy-tale themed wedding.
As many of Stefan’s close friends in the entertainment industry were unable to attend his wedding in France, Stefan and Peggy decided to hold a second wedding celebration in Hong Kong. The 35-table wedding banquet will be held at the InterContinental Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Stefan left all the wedding planning to Peggy this time. According to Stefan, their Hong Kong wedding will follow many traditional Chinese wedding customs. “We chose a lucky date to give our betrothal gifts to the bride. We also bought a lot of coconuts and bridal cakes as gifts. It’s interesting.”
Although Stefan and Peggy’s Hong Kong wedding will follow proper Chinese wedding etiquette, it will be a movie-themed wedding reception. The entire wedding venue will be designed to look like a cinematic theater.
Sitting on director chairs and posing in front of a lit screen, Stefan and Peggy’s wedding invitation cards resembled a movie poster. The title read “Peggy and Stefan, Mr. Right and Mrs. Always Right.” The subtitle caption read, “Coming soon on March 16, 2013.”
“All couples will have their bantering moments,” said Stefan. “Which is why I am Mr. Right and Peggy is Mrs. Always Right,” he laughed.
Baby Plans
Stefan also revealed that he will try for a baby soon after the wedding banquet. “Both of our parents really want grandchildren, especially my mother-in-law. She has two daughters herself, so she wants us to have a boy. Peggy and I don’t really mind.”
Last year was a great year for Stefan. After holding his lavish wedding in France last August, Stefan’s restaurant business boomed, and he now plans to open up a second restaurant in Hong Kong. “It’s been a great year so far,” Stefan admitted. “My wife brings me luck! She always bragged about how she has a nose that brings luck to her husband. It turns out that she was right.”

stefan considers one of the most handsome actors in TVB now & then…. his look is unique which he can be a reference for those guys who wants to do plastic surgery with plastic surgeon…what a perfection… he got the looks, fame, money & power business & lovely wife…what else he lacks? nothing

I really like Stefan. I hope he gets bigger roles at TVB. Acting still needs some improvement..but MUCH MUCH better than those so-called faa-daans like Eliza and Christine Kuo.

He seems to be really content with his life. With a loving wife, he only wishes for a healthy baby. It’s always great to see such happyness.
As an actor, he is not bad, with potential. I wonder why TVB doesn’t give him more support. But on the other hand, he doesn’t have to care much about crazy fans who could get furious about his love life. Like certain stars who felt that they have to hide their wives and children.
