The finale for TVB series, Ghost Writer <蒲松齡> finished broadcasting in Hong Kong. Starring Steven Ma Chun Wai, Linda Chung Ka Yan, and Fala Chen, the series averaged 36 points in ratings and peaked at 41 points.
Steven thanked the audience for their support. When the reporter asked whether Steven hoped to win TVB’s Best Actor Award as a result of the stellar ratings, he replied, “Every year, I really want to win this award!”

I have to admit that Fala’s popularity is truly increasing. During the airing of this series, her character is stealing so much of the screen attention. Best of luck for her future.
I didn’t really enjoy this series for some reason. Everyone gave a great performance but the storyline wasn’t too appealing. I guess melodrama isn’t exactly my cup of tea.
And I hope he will! Some day! Soon!
I was watching the 1st episode and I found it’s kind of boring at first. But when I read the review and start to watch another one and OMG, Steven, Linda, and Sunny total captivate my attention and I could not stop watching. I don’t understand Chinese but since the movie with English subtitle hasn’t update a new one I had to watch the movie in Chinese. LOL! I cannot understand anything but when I see Steven and Linda I can get the idea.
I always love TVB movie when Steven&Linda or Steven&Tarvia in it together. I hope he will get his wish soon!
Jayne: Sorry to to nitpick but I would translate this statement “Every year, I really want to win this award!” to
“I anticipate it every year!” For me, the connotation each conveys is very different.

I think I’m the only one here who doesn’t have Steven Ma’s acting and person as my cup of tea haha. I however found my admiration for Fala’s acting growing, before this I only look at her as a pretty actress
Clamine, I’m sure Steven may have been more modest than the way the initial translation conveyed. The version of the news aricle that I read was very brief and did not contain his full statement in the interview. Thanks for clarifying for us.
I like Fala more for her looks than acting, so I am still somewhat neutral about her. But I really see great achievements ahead for her. She has great star power, a “movie star” feel which transcends the small screen. Given her Mandarin and English abilitites, she has a large untapped market in China and possibly Hollywood.
Fala has made a huge name for herself in the last 5 years. She is not your typical beauty queen, I sense a great deal of ambition (perhaps even greater than Bernice Liu) inside her. She will not marry someone rich and just disappear. She will marry rich, but not anytime soon. Fala is a smart, driven, and confident person. She has planned for her career well. When she lived in the US, she entered many regional beauty pageants prior to the New York pageant. She knew NY was a high profile pageant that would be her ticket to Miss Chinese International and stardom. She was building her beauty competition experience to make sure that when she competes in MCI, she would win or get placed.
Looks can only get you so far, but it’s a great starting point. Many beauty quuens have faded to oblivion or hooked up with rich old men, but Fala is too smart and ambitious for that.
She has joined the music industry. Does it matter whether she can sing. As long as she is passable and can dance, she’ll be packaged into success.

I finish watching the series and it is so good and very sad. Great performance of Steven, Linda, and Fala. I cried in the last two episodes.
I actually really like Steven’s acting so I really hope he gets the award this year. Ray is a still young, needs a few more years and he will definitely get it. Wayne already received one for RB 1,unless his performance in RB2 is truly exceptional, then he could be a contender.
I hope that Fala will win an award this year~ I loved her acting in that drama.
Im with Jayzemine! i hope Steven wins an award too! Steven works really hard in his acting and is gradually improving he can play happy,sad,scared, heroic he can play any role perfectly!
