Tired Bosco Wong Stays Up All Night for “Heart and Greed”

It’s not easy being an actor. Irregular hours and long work nights come with the package, and Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), who is now at the height of his popularity, is going through just that.

The 36-year-old actor has been going full turbo in the filming for his new TVB drama Heart and Greed <溏心風暴3>, third part of TVB’s highly rated Heart of Greed franchise. Bosco is one of the few original cast members to return, alongside Louise Lee (李司棋), Michelle Yim (米雪), Ha Yu (夏雨), and Susanna Kwan (關菊英). Bosco stars as Nick, the flirtatious younger brother of Louise.

A few nights ago, paparazzi spotted Bosco arriving to the Central film set of Heart and Greed on his HK$2.5 million Mercedes-Benz, escorted by a driver. The car is registered under his own agency, Shaw Brothers.

After arriving to the scene, Bosco stayed in the car to study his script. It wasn’t until after the lighting staff were done with their work when Bosco appeared, and got into another car for a scene with costar Apple Chan (陳芷尤).

The warm weather did nothing but dampen Bosco’s energy. Looking tired and worn, Bosco rested in between takes. When fans approached for him photos, Bosco happily obliged, but stayed “chok” throughout, unable to muster enough energy to smile at the cameras. When his work was done, Bosco immediately bounced off the film set and headed for home.

Heart and Greed follows two Hong Kong families—one who owns a Hong Kong-style cafe, and another who owns an English high tea restaurant. It is produced by Tsui Yu-on (徐遇安) and Lau Ka-ho (劉家豪), who has been helming the franchise since 2007’s Heart of Greed. The drama is a co-production between TVB and China’s Penguin Pictures. Vincent Wong (王浩信), Priscilla Wong (黃翠如), Eliza Sam (岑麗香), Michael Tong (湯文龍), and Nora Miao (苗可秀) also star.

  1. I laughed a little because of a mistake from this article. Its 唐文龍, not ‘湯’文龍. 🙂
