Tony Hung Upsets Natalie Tong with Careless Comment
Despite having worked together for numerous years at Cable TV and TVB, good friends Tony Hung (洪永城) and Priscilla Wong (黃翠如) have always denied their romantic rumors. These rumors fizzled out soon after Priscilla publicly acknowledged her relationship with fellow actor, Edwin Siu (蕭正楠). However, Tony and Priscilla’s rumors were once again brought to the spotlight after Tony’s recent comment. “I have sacrificed unconditional love towards her [Priscilla Wong]. Unfortunately, she chose Edwin in the end.”
Tony’s comments not only rehashed the romantic rumors, but also garnered strong reactions from fans. While attending a promotional event recently, Tony took the opportunity to openly admit to his mistake. “I really do talk too much. I unintentionally say careless things as a joke! I didn’t think there would be such a strong reaction.”
When asked about his relationship with Priscilla, Tony explained, “She and I have a good relationship. We’ve never experienced any romantic feelings. We’re good friends and partners. Right now, Edwin is her partner in love. I want to take this opportunity to apologize. I’m sorry for hurting other people.”
On whether he was referring to hurting his rumored girlfriend, Natalie Tong (唐詩詠), Tony avoided the question and instead expressed, “I know that saying things carelessly can be disastrous. I also want to take this opportunity to give my well wishes to Priscilla and Edwin. They’re very compatible.”
Priscilla responded to the news in a joking manner, “Right now, I like Natalie a lot more than I like Tony. Tell him to make it up to Natalie, or else his life will be in danger!”

i am more so impressed on how stupid the neitzens can be. but i will have to say that tony should be more careful. sometimes, people take a joke too seriously (for example, the Tony x Priscilla shippers). Honestly never saw romantic chemistry in both.
Fans too sensitive. This was obviously a joke. Any one with half a brain can see that. Oh wait. Forgot some fans are brainless.
I think fans/netizens/citizens just wanna find a reason to bash Tony after CPT, lol. It’s really just a joke. And no one should be bashed if all parties involved are comfortable with the jokes/remarks.
Poor Natalie. She is a nice girl but she always end up with losers.
If they were ever together, this will be the start of a break. Looking at the past, Natalie may be slow to let go but for such matters, it is better to be fast. It hurts but let go, move on. Natalie, you deserve better. Tony, after all, does not sound like he really cherish you as you deserve to be.
Tony strikes me as a smooth talker, the type that can talk the birds out of the trees. Such a man is not trustworthy to me. Perhaps he’s just a playful guy but I would be wary of his kind.
