Several months have lapsed and TVB still has not settled the copyright issue with the Big Four music companies, which include Sony Music, Warner Music, EMI Music and Universal Music. Next week TVB will be broadcasting fundraisers with performances from the Big Four music companies and viewers are concerned with whether TVB will delete those scenes.
In response to this, Eric Tsang stated, “We gave them the broadcast rights, we won’t interfere.” In addition, TVB Production Director, Ho Lai Chuen, then said, “We will broadcast the singers of the Big Four music companies, unless it happens to be a commercial. Regardless, we will try our best to accommodate.”
