Wayne Lai, Moses Chan, and Fala Chen at “The Love Firm” Blessing Ceremony

The Love Firm <傳愛事務所> will see the onscreen reunification of TV Kings, Moses Chan (陳豪) and Wayne Lai (黎耀祥). The pair had partnered in 2008’s Moonlight Resonance <溏心風暴之家好月圓> and since then, Wayne has been promoted to lead actor and won numerous acting accolades. Moses reminded himself to be especially sharp around Wayne and looked forward to the friendly competition.

Moses and Wayne will also play love rivals in The Love Firm, as two lawyers vying for the affections of Christine Ng (伍詠薇), who portrays a judge.

At the blessing ceremony for The Love Firm at TVB City on December 12, Moses, Wayne, and Christine sported their sharp new looks. Fala Chen (陳法拉), who portrays an apprentice lawyer in the drama, revealed her new haircut. Since entering the entertainment industry, Fala has primarily maintained a feminine image with her long locks. She especially cut her hair short to suit her new new tomboyish character, who also enjoys boxing.

With her acting gaining good reviews since The Last Steep Ascent <天梯>, Samantha Ko (高海寧) will portray veteran actor, Wu Fung’s (胡楓) wife in The Love Firm. The age-defying coupling spiked media interest and Samantha kissed Wu Fu’s cheeks before the excited crowd. Although Samantha preferred mature men in real life, she drew the line at a 10-year gap.

The Love Firm boasts a strong supporting cast including Jason Chan (陳智燊), Sire Ma (馬賽), Elliot Yue (岳華), Power Chan ( 陳國邦), Chung King Fai (鍾景輝), Vincent Wong (王浩信), Mary Hon (韓馬利), Susan Tse (謝雪心),  and Patrick Tang (鄧健泓).

  1. Fala’s new hair is terrible. And I do not hope the series will be as “funny” as the sales presentation because Moses’s OTT comedy acting grates like hell.

  2. The supporting cast does seem impressive. Wasn’t really looking forward to the show after the sales presentation but addition of such a strong supporting cast does make it more appealing.

  3. i wonder who will be the first leading actor in this series moses or wayne cos someones names will come first

    1. i think waynewill be the lead cos moses cant actually lead a series by himself even though his a tv king

  4. yeah all the casts are great except Fala. TVB really wants to promote her.

  5. when i looked at the above pic, i thought fala and christine ng’s facial features looks quite similar , is it me or does anyone else see this

  6. I’ll never get why tomboys need to have their hair short! I’ve known a lot of tomboys that have there hair long

      1. True. It’s a bit too much of a stereotype to say tomboys have short hair. Heck, even guys have long hair.

  7. moses and wayne series always has strong supporting cast lucky them

  8. I really look forward to this this. Although Wayne and Moses collaborated in Moonlight, Wayne was then played a very minor role and their collaboration was very minimal too. Now that both has matured and gained much popularity, it should bring new spark, hopefully. Plus Christine has always been a very lgood actress. Wayne + Christine did worked together vbefore but it was again when Wayne was less recognised.

Wayne + Christine + Moses + Power Chan + Raymond Wong = Fresh + Good.

Btw, agree that Fala still looks good in long hair.

    1. Didn’t Wayne and Moses starred in The Gentle Crackdown?
