Whitney Hui Invited to Illicit Dinner Events

Second runner-up of the 2011 Miss Hong Kong Pageant, Whitney Hui (許亦妮), has been plagued by negative rumors since her debut in the entertainment industry. Despite possessing a pretty face and curvaceous body, Whitney was rumored to be neglected by TVB due to her diva attitude. Whitney’s last drama was a supporting role in Over Achievers <名門暗戰>, which aired in 2014.

Although she has not achieved much success in her career, the 27-year-old beauty has attracted a lot of attention from men. Recently, Whitney posted two self-taken photos on her social media site, eliciting many inappropriate advances online. One man offered Whitney $500,000 HKD to attend a “private dinner event”. This prompted a bidding war, as another man offered $1.5 million HKD, urging Whitney to respond quickly.

Upon seeing the messages, Whitney responded through the post, “$1.5 million to go have dinner? Even if it were $3 million, $5 million, or $10 million, I will not consider it no matter how much money. First of all, I am not that type of woman! Secondly, I will not meet friends through this avenue. And third of all, no matter how poor I am, I will not stoop to the level of choosing this path to earn money! Everyone, please stop asking. Please do not keep asking or sending creepy messages. Sometimes, seeing these messages at night can be really scary! Thank you.”

Many netizens supported Whitney and praised her positive attitude.

  1. But i remember her being in “Fashion War” earlier this year so how could “Overachievers” been her last role?

  2. she was in the fashion war and it was not an insignificant role although not a major one. i thought she looks kinda weird in the show and yes she looked like kira.

  3. She’s a very pretty girl, but I find her acting rather weak. Not that weak acting has ever stopped TVB from casting for their roles (especially females), but perhaps not seeing her too often on TV is a good thing for the audience.

She’d be great at modeling though!
