Mr. Hong Kong 2010 winner, William Chak (翟威廉), and Miss Hong Kong 2010 winner, Toby Chan (陳庭欣), were spotted dating at a mall. The pair often held hands and displayed intimate gestures. Afterwards, the pair went back to William’s apartment.
Although Toby mentioned that she had a boyfriend in Shanghai, the paparazzi once again photographed her intimate with another man. It was understandable that Toby responded evasively over the dating rumors with William. Toby denied entering William’s apartment and only arrived at the garage facilities. She did not deny that they were good friends. However, they ran in each other and shared a meal together. When asked whether they were holding hands, Toby said that William had injured his foot and did not carry a crutch. She asked the media not to speculate unnecessarily.
On the other hand, William’s response did not match Toby’s answer. William admitted that he and Toby went shopping and did not deny that she entered his apartment.

Jayne: How come this news comes across as a publicity stunt? How convenient for Mr. and Miss Hong Kong 2010 to date and be photographed linking arms? Lol, I remember a similar stunt when Fala Chen and Matthew Ko were photographed in a car together, with both of them staring straight at the camera. This is a good thing though; I suppose they got together to create this news opportunity under guidance of TVB, indicating that William Chak may be promoted more.

I also heard that Toby has a bf already even before she joined MHK. It might be true that this is a PR stunt to promote William. But why did they choose Toby? First, she already has a bf and she admitted to it. Second, is TVB interested in promoting her too?
