Earlier as a guest on a TVB program in January, William Chan Wai Ting shocked the media when he openly admitted losing his virginity at 19 years old. When the topic turned towards sexual abstinence, William pointed to Sun Boy’z member, Steven Cheung Chi Hang as having strong abstinence powers.

At one point in time, Steven had abstained from sex for two years. William said he will not intentionally abstain from sex. Instead, he will let a relationship and physical intimacy run its natural course. William admitted that he did not have a sexual relationship for a lengthy period of time. Reporters asked William, “How long?” In response, he said, “A very long time.” Did he ever date two women at once? “No, I will not allow myself to do that.”

William has often been romantically linked with model, Angelababy. When Angelababy was rumored to be involved with her agent in Japan, William tried to dispel the rumors. “Angelababy is not involved with another man. All along, we have maintained our friendship. The rumors with her agent are false.” (How did William know this?) “She clarified to me that they are fabricated.”
