Wu Chun Reveals Real Reasons for Leaving Fahrenheit

Though now a well-established actor, many fans still remember that Bruneian actor Wu Chun (吳尊) was once part of the Taiwanese boy band Fahrenheit (飛輪海), which debuted in 2005 under HIM International. Wu Chun released four albums with Fahrenheit before he announced his official leave from the boy band in June 2011.

Wu Chun’s representative announced that his reasons for leaving were because he no longer aspired to be a singer and hoped to focus on his acting career. He also stated that he wanted to spend more time with his family. At the time, it was still not known that he was married to his longtime girlfriend, Lin Li Ying (林麗瑩).

Wu Chun’s departure from the band led to various speculations about his reasons for leaving. Some rumors claimed that he left due to discord with the members, while some said he left due to contract disputes.

However, in a recent talk show hosted by his former band mate Calvin Chen (辰亦儒), Wu Chun finally revealed his true reasons for leaving Fahrenheit. He admitted, “It was because I had my daughter Nei Nei, so it was impossible for me to continue activities with [the band].” He clarified that he and his Fahrenheit brothers are still close and he would love to work with them again in the future.

Wu Chun could not contain his love and enthusiasm for his daughter. On the show, he said Nei Nei was a joy to take care of, but although she may sometimes be a bit stubborn, her persistent personality is quite endearing. “She would want to get a piece of candy on top of a cupboard, but she couldn’t reach it. She also wouldn’t let me help her. But it would be okay if I picked her up so she could reach it herself.”

  1. Awwww her stubborn personality is so cute! hehe

    1. Wu Chun is indeed beautiful not handsome! LOL!

  2. The girly looking face is something the Asian girls like, the girlier looking the man, the better. Why women would want this is beyond common sense and logic.

The original author of this article does not know what he or she is talking about. In 2011, when Wu Chun left Fahrenheit, it was speculated that he did so to spend time with his wife and child, so I find it amusing that the writer would say his family life was not known to the public. He denied that he was not married, or a father. He even threatened legal action if the articles continue to be printed that he was married. Now he has contradicted himself and is eating his words like a regurgitating cow, all for the sake of his fifteen minutes of news reel to continue. What a hypocrite.

Maybe in the future, I should continue to expose those who are screaming they are not married when they actually are. I should even post the marriage certificate. I should also expose the ones who who are fooling the world about their so called “wives” who do not exist. I should also expose the real reason why they are looking like a walking skeleton, due to their lifestyle, and they are claiming gas….. this and gas….. that.

I should do that and a lot more, do a whole lot of exposing, and let people see why I can’t stand certain people. If the real truth came out about certain people, these blind fans would wake up, or maybe not, cause some sheep will never wake up from worshipping their gods.

    1. Really? Girls in asia like girly face men? I have to agree that this is beyond common sense and logic.

  3. Yes, REALLY!!!. Especially in Korea and Taiwan. That is why all the young idol men are trying to looks girly. It puts money in their pockets and loving in their pants. Pardon my bluntness, but I have no time for candy puff illusinal words.

  4. I wonder how many people really care about his reasons now. His lies over the years had turn off a great number of fans. Looks like he misses being in front of the camera.
