“A Change of Heart” Sees High Ratings During Final Week
Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), Niki Chow (周麗淇), Joey Meng (萬綺雯), and Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪) attended a promotional event for their drama A Change of Heart <好心作怪> today. The 30-episode series will end this week and is earning favorable ratings so far, averaging 30 points with a peak of 32 points.
Earlier, Bosco and Niki made a promise that they will wear swimming briefs and bikinis respectively, to thank the audience should the series achieve a 32 point rating. The two did not honor their promise however. At today’s event, Bosco appeared in a black, long-sleeved shirt and pants while Niki was covered by a large coat. Reporters and viewers at the event immediately complained. After a lot of persuasion, Bosco finally took off his shirt, revealing a black tank top underneath. Niki also removed her coat and showed off her black, deep-v dress.
The two later humored reporters while taking promotional photos. Bosco put on a red bikini top over his outfit, and Niki held an orange swimming brief over her dress.
Reporters dared Bosco and Niki once again, asking if they would promise to wear the swimsuits at the celebratory dinner if the series reaches 35 points this week. Bosco immediately agreed. Niki however, joked, “Joey and I will wear bikinis together if we reach 35 points!”
Joey was completely unfazed. “Sure. I will be going on vacation anyway. I will post photos in a swimsuit to show everyone.” Reporters asked if Joey will wear a bikini. She replied, “Of course. I’ve never owned a one-piece.”
Hearing this, Niki added that she may not be in Hong Kong as well, but promised to send photos of herself wearing two-piece swimwear.

Is it sexy to be frail thin? No curves no toning….no nothing. A piece of white paper has more sex appeal!

Oh my god! Niki is 1000x exactly like the character “xiao gut” in change of heart, except more annoying! why the heck do you drag someone else in? (joey to wear bikini) i hate those type of ppl. it’s like someone fell into a hole and they need to drag u in so they dont look stupid or embarrass. not like she’s that conservative to start with. what a hypocrite.
There’s no need to criticize Niki’s body as she was just born that way. Do we really need to scrutinize everyone with less than stellar curves? Must everyone need to have PS these days?
Wow, a bit judgmental there. There’s nothing wrong with being thin and not curvy. If she wants, she can afford to eat a bit more and gain a pound or two. Looks like these days, you can’t be thin or fat or anything in HK. Too thin and people say you have a pre-pubertal body, too curvy (like Eliza) and you’re obese.

This series top all the other half of the series to air this year so is it considered successful? I would say so.
I agree that even though the ratings aren’t the greatest in history, but compared to the other series this year it is still considered successful.
No like seeing Niki in bikini, she is not pretty, she can’t act, and she has a ‘big’ face.

Joey can act, no doubt about it. Niki is just a pretty face & her acting was terrible. Her chest reminds me of the nostalgic ol’ Kai Tak Airport….
honestly… tvb is dying…. bosco is happy with 30 points? remember moonlight resonance?? when i dont think ever hit lower than 33 and hit over 55?
Those days (Moonlight Resonance era), we watch TV , not on our little mobile gadgets or computers online
right,many ppl today are watching series on mobile phones or computer online,so you cant just rely on tv ratings to take conclusions how popular the serie really is.
How can anyone not remember Moonlight Resonance? It was a classic…one of my all time favourites in the last 5 years. If only they could produce another series like it….
If only lau kar ho(heart of greed, moonlight resonance, witness insecurity) and miu siu ching(beyond the realm of conscience, cantbuy me love, daddy good deeds) came back, they could probably save tvb with their amazing dramas!
At least this series is worth watching than others which have higher budget and higher expectations. Some of the earlier series I actually stopped watching after a few episodes. Hopefully they will get some awards during the end of the year TVB Anniversary Awards.

I’m sure Bosco is enjoying every minute of it with the bra hanging around his neck since he confessed to liking eccentric fashion.
Thank god that was for his ratings promise and not one of his fashion mishaps.
I thought he had finally lost it when I saw the pic and figured he chose to wear that.

Agree, what i can see is its a good series, and the casts are quite creative with the bikini thing, chill people, its funny, dont be so negative about someones less than perfect body, seriously!!!
Why so much hate? If you compared this drama to other dramas with 19-27 ratings this drama is doing really well! I’m actually enjoying the drama too!

Rating is dropping because now days you can watch it on Tvb online! No need to sit on the sofa and wait for the drama to be aired! So far this is drama is worth watching!!
I’m surprised more people don’t realize this. It’s a global trend. TV ratings will continue to fall no matter how good or bad a series is. People don’t need to watch it on tv right at 9:30 every night. They can watch it on their computer and phones anytime, anywhere.
