Bob Lam and Louis Cheung’s Nude Scene in “Come On, Cousin”

TVB comedy Come On, Cousin <老表,你好hea!> has been pushing Hong Kong’s TV screen limits. After airing a passionate kissing scene between Bob Lam (林盛斌) and May Chan (陳嘉佳), this week’s broadcast features Bob and Louis Cheung (張繼聰) posing nude for money.

In the latest plot twist, Bob and Louis’s characters officially hit rock bottom and they have no choice but to take up menial jobs to earn a living. While Louis becomes a traffic controller, Bob performs manual labor at a construction company.

When they realize that becoming nude models for an art class is a quick way to earn money, Louis and Bob quickly apply for the job. They pose nude in a class full of housewives. Evidently challenging the limits of Hong Kong’s TV screens, Bob and Louis flaunt plenty of skin in the scene, which pixelates only the most sensitive parts.

While the actors wore underwear to film the scene, Bob still felt embarrassed. However, he is willing to set aside his personal comfort for acting and is happy to hear of the positive feedback over his onscreen chemistry with May Chan. Bob said, “I heard that some friends say that they should add a Best Onscreen Couple award for May and I. This makes me very happy.”

TVB’s annual Anniversary Awards is just around the corner. With Come On, Cousin’s good feedback, Roger Kwok (郭晉安) and Wong Cho Lam (王祖藍) are contenders in the TV King race. Bob and Louis are also considered favorites for Best Supporting Actor.

Producer Wong Wai Sing (黃偉聲) seemed to favor Bob and praised him for his courageous scenes in the drama. Wong revealed that the cast and crew could not control their laughter when they filmed the art class scene and thanked the entire team for contributing ideas to make the comedy fresh.

      1. jacintha,
“Come On, Cousin” continuously puts their characters in outrageous situations for laughs. While I think a stronger actor such as Johnson Lee may have made Wong Cho Lam’s scenes even more hilarious, the script is fresh.

I’ve been watching the series to relieve stressful nights as well.

      2. Johnson Lee works well in real situation but in acting, I fine him unmemorable. Wong Cho Lam so far is funny and luckily he doesn’t hog the limelight for himself and let others shine, so it is good. It is the unbalanced story that is less than perfect.

      1. LMAOOO, you act like you never seen someone private area… & plus it is gonna be pixelates so like it is not really a big deal

  4. I think Johnnie To might have been misquoted; what he might have tried to say was “who wants to cast Louis Cheung now?’

  5. This drama is getting cheaper and cheaper with the actors demeaning themselves just to milk a few laughs.
