Kay Tse Works Hard in Debut Drama

TVB modern drama Vampire <僵>, starring Kay Tse (謝安琪), Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) and Grace Chan (陳凱琳), is currently filming. The action-packed drama will be enhanced by high quality technology and will have many combat scenes.

Injured from the filming of action scenes in prior dramas, 44-year-old Kevin did not shy away from the physically demanding feats. “You can’t be afraid. You can’t plan for accidents!” Kevin was also full of praises toward Kay and revealed that her husband Louis Cheung (張繼聰) often visited onset.

Starring in a drama for the first time, Kay revealed that Louis would visit onset to tease her, as he knows she cannot endure late night shifts. “He came to see if I looked like a wreck!” Kay further expressed that, in preparation for the numerous actions scenes, she had taken two months of martial arts lessons. She praised Kevin for his professionalism and revealed that Kevin was very proactive in teaching and giving her tips on acting.

Grace, who had only recently concluded filming of Captain Destiny <張保仔>, continued on to film Vampire after a mere two-day break. Although struggling to juggle a busy work schedule, Grace is not worried about the lack of rest, but is more concerned about the inability to fully engross herself into character due to the short break in between.

  1. Kevin has age a lot or is it just me?! anyways looking forward the new drama!

    1. Coz he is supposed to look 500 years old in this drama lol…

    2. @ Hannahh:

Yes. KC does look older this year. Probably is working too much. Just like Nicky Wu – last year he started to look older also.

      1. because he is not a vampire in the series…he is an undead… kay is a vampire

      2. uh yes he is. he plays a 500-year old vampire … lol
and no kolo, its not about the teeth lol he just doesnt look like one in general LOL

  2. kevin seems haggard…maybe he is also tired from action packed scenes.

    1. Well, he is in his 40’s? haaha LOL.. I guess TVB does that to you? hahah Look at uncle Raymond. He’s only in his 30’s but he looks haggard a lot of the time from the pics anyway. lol

      1. uncle Raymond could be haggard because of entertaining his girlfriend.

      2. And you are haggard than both of them because of your continuous bashes.

      3. Despite what someone mentioned about bashing Kevin, he is my 8th prince.

  3. man i think joey meng should have been the vampire in this drama. xD

  4. They’d better not overpromote this drama and give us great disappointmemt. Vampire? High tech? Graphics? Everything that TVB does not have. They don’t even have a huge variety of settings to film. Their dramas are just similar plot with different casts in the same setting again and again.

    1. That’s why monopolies are BAD. They can give consumers poor quality and there’s nothing that consumers can do about it.
