Myolie Wu Stars as Jealous Wife in “Lady Sour”
Myolie Wu’s (胡杏兒) Lady Sour <醋娘子> will premier on December 1. Ending the year on a light note, the romantic comedy delves into the lives of four good friends who are in a complicated love square.
Lady Sour: Cho Ching
A smart and sharp-tongued woman from the start, Cho Ching (Myolie Wu) travels the land with her mother (Gigi Wong 黃淑儀) as phony physicians who tricks locals into thinking they are real doctors. Falling in love with Chin Tun (Him Law 羅仲謙), Myolie begins her quest of marrying into the Chin family. Jumping over obstacles, Myolie finally marries Chin Tun, but the newlyweds’ relationship is met with trouble when Chin Tun falls in love with the housemaid.
Easily jealous and hot-tempered, Lady Sour follows the story of Cho Ching whose goal is to win back her husband and suppress that green-eyed monster within her.
Witty Chancellor: Gai Chun
Despite his strange skin condition, Gai Chun (Ron Ng 吳卓羲) is an optimistic and witty individual who acts as Cho Ching’s love coach after she accidentally heals him. A pair of bickering enemies at first, Gai Chun and Cho Ching slowly become good friends during the process. To pay back Cho Ching’s favor of healing his skin, Gai Chun promises to do everything he can to make Chin Tun fall in love with Cho Ching.
Ladies Man: Chin Tun and Loyal Housemaid: San Cha
Because of his good looks, wealth, and innocent personality, women of the village flock to Chin Tun’s feet. Besides Cho Ching’s love at first sight encounter with the village’s most eligible bachelor, the Chin family’s quiet and demure housemaid, San Cha (Eliza Sam 岑麗香), also takes a likening to her master. Chin Tun and San Cha have been friends since childhood. When Cho Ching marries into the family, San Cha is determined to end her feelings for Chin Tun and begins avoiding her master.
However, Cho Ching’s sharp eyes quickly catch onto Chin Tun and San Cha’s secret feelings for each other. As her jealousy grows stronger, Cho Ching’s last resort is to marry San Cha off to another family. When Chin Tun attempts to stop his wife, arguments arise and begin to cause problems in their relationship.

She has not had any spacial role for a few years, hope this series an interesting one.
I just saw her in Temporary Family, at this point, I do not think she is suitable for movie yet.

I agree. The scenes when Nick proposes to her (the New Zealand cemetery :P) and the final break-up with Nick, she gets emotional but I see the same lady as I see in TVB series
Too teenish look for me and nor is she pretty. Her acting has not impressed me too.

This is going to suck, not a high standard production and the cast is weak.
its shown during a low ratings period during the christmas holidays which shows how much TVB has faith in it.
That pic and makeup not giving Myolie justice! She’s better off in modern elegant makeup and fashion!
Hopefully Koo Wai Nam doesnt mess it up with catfights. His comedy jokes are not bad, but he always exaggerated the catfights to make them too complicated and messy.
But I still look forward to this one because of its cast.
It is an era where a man can marry more than 1. If he can marry a lowly doctor as 1st wife I don’t see why he can’t marry his maid as 2nd wife. And myolie in a comedy is seriously the worst case scenario
I think he does marry both, but his wife is super jealous of the concubine so he has to eventually part with one as the wife cannot accept sharing her husband.
Tvb has not done an ancient love comedy in a long time so I hope this will have a good story and script.

To be honest, I find Moylie as an actress bordering at boredom. But hey, that’s just the lousy me feeling.

She turn off everyman. Try watching fei tian. How can such look become a lead actress. If she just an ordinary ol, i will withdraw my criticism. Here we pay monthly subscription to watch them showing this garbage.
I dont think Myolie is pretty and good in her acting but looking forward to see Eliza Sam churns into a beautiful girl, her acting is good
