Nicky Wu to Film “Bu Bu Jing Xin 2” in March 2013
Bu Bu Jing Xin’s <步步惊心> Yongzheng Emperor, Nicky Wu (吳奇隆), is currently actively shooting the last few scenes for the espionage television drama, Severe Winter<寒冬>. The action-packed serial, starring Nicky as the central character Deng Zihua, centers into a story of underground wit battles between Communist Chinese spies and Soviet Russian agents during the Second Sino-Japanese war.
Starring alongside Nicky is Korean pop singer and actress, Chae Yeon, the lover of Deng’s brother-in-law Chen Longhai, portrayed by Yao Gang (姚刚). Chae Yeon expressed that she became a fan of Nicky after watching Bu Bu Jing Xin, and was thrilled to be able to have the chance to work with him in Severe Winter.
Attracted to Nicky’s charisma in Bu Bu Jing Xin, Chae Yeon also gushed at Nicky’s electrifying eyes and kissable lips.
Nicky humorously replied, “So that’s the only thing you noticed?” Nicky then groaned that he would not be able to have any intimate scenes with Chae Yeon, exclaiming, “She will be with intimate my brother-in-law instead! I am in charge of watching them in the sidelines, kind of like keeping watch like a watchdog.”
“Bu Bu Jing Qing” To Start Shooting in March 2013
Nicky revealed that he will begin to shoot for Bu Bu Jing Qing <步步惊情>, a modern reboot of Bu Bu Jing Xin, this coming March. Expressing that he has already received Bu Bu Jing Qing’s screenplay, Nicky also confirmed that “Ruoxi” Cecilia Liu (刘诗诗), “Tenth prince” Ye Zuxin (葉祖新), and “Kangxi” Damian Lau (劉松仁) will be returning to star.
Asked if “Fourteenth prince” Lin Gengxin (林更新), who is currently in a contractual dispute with his management company Chinese Entertainment Shanghai, will also return for the sequel, Nicky replied, “I haven’t heard news of him returning yet.”
Nicky also refused to disclose the plot of Bu Bu Jing Qing, saying that he is currently not allowed to do so.

awww, I really hope Lin Gengxin will return. Not sure if I’ll like this as much as the first one…but I’ll definitely give a few eps a try.

I don’t know if he’s photogenic, but he sure is a poser. It’s kind of gross that he’s trying so hard to look pure and gentle and sweet. The worst are his wannabe puppy eyes. I mean, really, get over it. Can he just sit up straight and take a shot that just makes him look like a man…PLEASE??

Not too optimistic about BBJQ. Why not do a sequel instead of a “reboot”? Anyway, I prefer some of the fanfics to the actual drama, especially CG’s.

No,Nicky is natural… I think he may have make up on but that’s it. Some have suspected that he uses botox too but I am not sure.I once got into an argument with some Jimmy Lin fans who accused him of using botox… They were praising Jimmy Lin for looking young compared to Nicky.

Jimmy Lin is actually pretty good looking, whereas this Nicky dude, i never thought so…I wouldnt argue w/u like i am a JL fan b/c i am not a fan of both but if i have comment on their looks, JL is much cuter and younger if we have to compare that is….
It is true that Jimmy Lin is younger but he looks too girly while Nicky at least looks more manly. There is more to a person than looks…

He has a sad life.. I noticed that his sad eyes came after his failed marriage. Poor guy. Once bitten twice shy. He had smiley eyes and a bright infectious smile during his little tigers days.

Aw, thought i know it mainly depends on the script but it just wouldn’t be the same without the original cast (hmn at least the main 5?!) especially since it’s a sequel! 🙁 Oh wells, not sure how i feel about this but not getting hopes up for now..
