Raymond Wong and Priscilla Wong Reunite in New Modern Series

Raymond Wong (黃浩然) and Priscilla Wong (黃翠如) will reunite on screen in the upcoming series, Love Me, Please Leave a Message <愛我請留言>. Currently starring in Karma Rider <師父·明白了>, Raymond and Priscilla will once again portray a romantic couple in their new project. Helmed by Karma Rider director Chen Yiu Chuan (陳耀全), the 20-episode series will explore the modern trend of digital communication and the various issues associated with it. The series will also star Eddie Kwan (關禮傑), Tony Hung (洪永城), Elaine Yiu (姚子羚), and Vincent Wong (王浩信).

Raymond is set to play Lok Tin Sung, a purchasing manager at a furniture shop. He is married to Elaine Yiu, a gynecologist. The two care for their 6-year-old adopted daughter/niece together and will eventually divorce. Priscilla plays Tong Sin Yu, a chocolate shop’s marketing manager who is dating Golden, played by Tony Hung. Due to his desire for freedom, Golden breaks up with Sin Yu. Later Tin Sung and Sin Yu develop feelings for each other and whether they will get together at the end remains to be seen.

Raymond and Priscilla were at Kowloon Tong on August 2 filming for the new series. In the scene, Raymond picked up his 6-year-old daughter from school and carried her in his arms. Priscilla was riding in a taxi at the moment and saw Raymond from the car windows. Although the scene was simple, the looming rain clouds threatened to disrupt filming. The team quickly filmed the first take with no problems, and everyone gathered to watch the playback. Unfortunately it started to rain. The crew were waiting for the rain to stop before filming additional takes but the weather became worse. The team was ultimately forced to cut their day short. Priscilla hopped onto the company van to head back, and Raymond waved to reporters as he left the set in his own car.

Earlier, reports claimed that Priscilla had signed on to film movies with Sundream Motion Pictures. Since Sundream is affiliated with Priscilla’s former employer, iCable, some speculate that Priscilla may have plans to leave TVB. The rumor turned out to be false however, as Priscilla stated she has no knowledge about this movie deal.

  1. Priscilla is sweet-looking and not too bad for her newcomer, but she needs to improve a lot on her voice acting. Her voice quivers and breaks up too much when she has deliver her lines, even in non-emotional scenes. It’s a glaring weakness of hers but she can work in it, like how Charmaine got rid of her irritating chicken voice when she was a newbie.

    1. Agreed. she talks like any minute now she is going to cry, as if the director threatened her if she doesn’t deliver the lines he will chop her up.

      1. exactly what i was think funn!! 🙂
i thought during the series “Reality check/GPS” she was SUPPOSE to be this scared little personal assistant…. and then it turns out this voice is permanent lol.

i dunno how she used to be a news anchor or host back in her younger days lol!

    2. she is okay. and yeh there is something with her voice. as if she is having a cold…

  2. I find it difficult to anticipate dramas that Priscilla will be in. Why can’t she start off as a supporting role as a rookie, why lead role?

    1. Agree Nancy Wu has everything it takes to lead and Nancy still supporting

    2. Priscilla Wong is brought in by Yu Wing San, a fairly new TVB executive. She came from Cable TV.

Nancy Wu needs some top TVB executives to support her in order for her to get 1st lead roles.

I totally agree with you that Nancy Wu has everything it takes to lead and Nancy is still acting supporting roles.

Good connections do a great deal these days in order to get moved up.

      1. Ya nancy wu can act…but i don;t think she has the lead look. She seems average looking on tv. Not very sweet looking or exceptionally charming. I will certainly watch every drama priscilla acts in…bcos it’s like not many good lead actresses nowadays. Myolie, tavia, linda, kate, etc. only.

      1. Yup, besides look and talent(which sadly many do not seem to have these days), you really need connections and luck. But that goes for many fields, especially in the e circle.

  3. im not looking forward to watch Pricilla in any drama.

  4. Sometime I don’t get TVB. Her acting is raw, she has no charisma on screen, and she does not have leading lady look. Sorry, but I find her looking below average for celebrity. Average looking for normal gal, which speak a lot considering the makeup and makeover on screen.

Let face it, TVB will stuff her into our face with leading role until audience accept her.

  5. Though she has a sweet look. Her acting is really weak! And the fact that she turns down kiss scenes turns me off! She’s lucky that she is able to get lead roles right off the bat, yet she isn’t professional enough to shoot it. At least Fala was willing to do some cheek kisses and peck on lips! This girl isn’t willing to at all!

    1. Hey, I did not know it ………..Priscilla turns down kiss scenes and her 1st lead actress status is not yet well established.

  6. Priscilla + Raymond Wong = another drama to skip

  7. I like her..I think u will fall in love with her after watching her travel program. Very genuine and nice person. I actually like priscilla and raymond. Priscilla’s acting is still considered better than most rookies, altho i agree she has rooms for improvement in her voice and expression. But most of the time she is still ok. I think she is even better than fala chen in “triumph”. I like her and linda chung. And ruco and raymond. These people are down to earth and no much negative press. They just concentrate on their work.

    1. I like Priscilla Wong too, even though her acting/expression/voice is poor for the moment, she will gain more and more experience later. Just need more opportunities…to learn more about what went bad.

Oh! What was the title of the travel program?

      1. “地平線上 這個世界那些人” I’m not sure the English nsme.

      2. ya “地平線上 這個世界那些人” u can wiki her info. I like her after watching that. I really like her when i watched her from the travel programme. She really has the lead actress look. So happy she is signed to tvb. And she should because she has potential. Not many actresses in tvb i like and who are natural or do not look plastic or good in acting.

    2. Yes I like her as a presenter. She is natural and sweet, speaks well (as a presenter, although she needs to improve as an actress), and the way she presents herself doesn’t give off vibes that she is an airhead.

  8. I didn’t like her at first for the heartroad gps show but after watching her in karma rider, I like her. Even though she wasn’t particularly any good, the story line and character is really refreshing and new.

  9. I actually like her in that series w/RUCO which they didn’t have any love line but i thought she acted really natural and passable for a rookie newbie. she looks sweet enough.

  10. I like Priscilla too. She just needs time to brush up her acting skills.

  11. she looks like a senior nun in swordplay series ‘the legend of the condor heroes’.. cast brabara yung and felix wong

  12. i watch a few episode of Karma rider , even though I like Raymond Wong, the whole series seems force and unnatural with the acting and speaking. I think Priscilla resemble Alyssa Chai

  13. I personally started to like her in every drama that she had. She is just too good in acting that why she could take the lead in drama even she is a rookie.

  14. I love Karma Rider and found that I was really rooting for Hei Chi Chi (Priscilla) and Chor Yat Cheen (Raymond). She was very good and fresh face – made me realize how much I did not like Raymond/Niki pairing in Bottled Passion.

  15. She actually isn’t that bad. She’s on the right path and hey she CAN cry. Lol.

I think her facial expressions are on point, but she needs to err fix her voice? Like she sounds like she’s going to cry even though her lines are suppose to be jolly/happy/jumpy.

    1. I think she can definitely improve on that. Maybe she didn’t notice her habit or sth.
