• @66ksc so it’s actually not in document, so they can change it later they want to lol. That might also mean they are not 100% sold on the name? Lol
  • Ruco's been asked by the HK media at this topic each time he appeared before Quinta's birth. This is market value. It's already couple of weeks after daughter's birth before he announced to the public- the media and thousands of fans awaiting for the good news. TBB also need positive news to balance the negative one lately. From a HK newspaper, I found Phoebe's definition for Quinta-wealthy, successful, persistent-not verified though. Anyway, the couple decided not to put Quinta in official documents-bc,id. in case daughter dislikes it when grows up.
  • @groundhog HK01 is misleading. Heshen was smart and handsome in real history. Ruco's acting was praised in majority comments especially Mainland China saying that he has the best Heshen image, but of course exclude those with fixed attitude against him. Anyway, despite his good performance, it's obvious that ba award won go to him this year.
  • Ruco is still the crowd puller. This event has resulted in highest people traffic since opening for this mall. Market prevails! What would be the next trash topic for him....arr....lol
  • @bubbletea Work hard....pay hard....lol Money grubbing is not Ruco's monopoly. Same to every one especially those frequent visitors you mentioned.
  • garbage HK media. They jumped to the prices which they assumed are ticket prices without checking the content, or they really don't understand English? This shows they seize all chances to trash Ruco like some frequent visitors in forums. Worth or not, the passes were all redeemed in 1 day. TBB,s the one who's most happy cos they have a money making machine.
  • Ruco and Nancy are great on-screen couple. Their dramas have highest viewership ratings in Hong Kong and Canton. Viewers love their collaboration and it was reflected in comments in many forums. Hong Kong viewers are smart and rational. They pick those dramas which are attractive. It's naive to think that those fake reports by cheap paparazzi and bad-mouthing by small group of haters can change the reality. Will just skip all haters comments. Save time.
  • @jimmyszeto Don't try to discourage me by criticizing my English. I used to think and write in English ever since my high school days. Your comment shows your didn't study English literature. This item was picked by Jaynestars becos of Ruco's popularity and not other way round as your said. Anyway, I am glad my comments are well received by other readers . Your prejudice against Ruco is exposed in this forum.
  • @jimmyszeto Pretentious. Alright, in order to make you 'understand', I rewrite my comments in simple sentence. By the time I sent my first comment on 4 Oct at 6:28am, I remember the icons for "Love" and "angry" were 120 & 15 respectively. The number of "Love" far exceeded the negative, copy and paste comments of a few 'frequent visitors' here. Ruco has aroused much attention even when he took a break. So he's not forgotten. Special visitors are so restless. Now the number of "angry" is 1500! What happens! Why terribly angry with an artiste who went for holiday after finished filming series with his blood and sweat and sleepless months? Why? I think smart readers know what's happening and therefore no response from them.
  • The no. of 'angry' increase from 15 when I posted my comment @6:28 to 634-hardworking, hahaha!
  • '120 Love' against a handful of 'frequent visitors' with copy and paste negative comments-who wins? simple math. lol. Silence doesn't mean compromise. Ruco is not forgotten, at least not for those special visitors who remain busy with his minor topics, which shows he's still so competitive.
  • @jimmyszeto Give me the percentage for all forums then-don't forget you said "everyone". Don't treat those points you disagree as my conspiracy theory which might be facts.Joel was already given more screen time in Burning Hands but that character failed. Stubborness and preferences are not for me alone. Read your own comments. Anyway, I will stop here, no way to argue with someone with fixed attitude.
  • Vincent Wong is overrated. He overacts in emotional scenes. He's got the right roles to shine in EU, My Unfair Lady, LM. But I find him using the same mode in portraying characters for the first two series. LM is tailormade to showcase his acting, yet he's way too weak in delivering his dialogues as a lawyer. Lam Wai Sun's court shows definitely outshine him with clear and precise tone of speech and natural facial expressions. Vincent's dialogues are flat and unclear which is his greatest weak point. Agree that Ruco has lazy tones, but he can deliver his dialogues clearly with right intonations according to emotions. Am still impressed how he, as Keith the barrister, delivered his final statement for a murder case in The Other Truth, sensational and touching which moved lots of viewers. It's the barrister role which made him pop out and admired by tons of viewers, despite his now and then lazy tone. He already proved his versatility in handling completely different roles in TOT, Brothers' Keeper, ROE, Eye in the sky, COD etc. and don't forget Kuen Lo in AFWFW was not tailor-made for him-he picked it second-hand for a character that is 13 years younger but was widely admired by majority audience. Of course, every actor has room for improvement and there are roles they can't handle. Vincent needs more shows to prove his versatility, not just 2 or 3 tailor-made.
  • @jimmyszeto "everyone has disagreed on your conspiracy theory."-did you go through all comments in all forums to confirm? From your comments, I realize that your understanding of TBB is backdated to a few years ago. The ratings, the personnel, TBB's latest situation etc. has changed in the last couple of years. TBB's tactic to use popular artistes to bring up 2/3 line artistes is nothing new in Hong Kong, since a lot of hot artistes went for gold digging in Mainland China. The quality of dramas is going downhill and to compare with those a few years ago is certainly a joke. Kent & Kate's love story was lengthy and occupied much screen time and Rcuo's showtime was limited to the last 3 episodes that many viewers complained about the sudden change of Ah Kit was unacceptable-refer to comments in other forums. Do more homework before your conclusion.
  • @passingby "He has been given lousy roles of late" - agree. No bad regards for Joel. He's a decent actor. Yet his role of Kent the good guy was used to compare to Ruco's and thus the chance to give unfair criticism to the latter-just refer to some other topics on TUA.
  • @jimmyszeto You have the point: 3rd series in a row! Am looking at the fact not a fan's view. TBB' short of actors and Joel has potential, so what's so funny. It's their usual tactic. No more interest to entangle with someone with fixed attitude.
  • @groundhog The last 3 episodes which Ruco has more screen time to showcase his acting has the highest ratings. This shows that he has the genuine main lead charisma to retain the audience, not only fans. Viewers in Hong Kong have no patience. If they find the drama nothing attractive they will turn off tv. TBB knows too well which artistes have drawing power and they often use those artistes to promote 2nd line or newbies, sometimes even sacrificing the plot and thus the series have no improvement.
  • @funnlim "Ruco has been played out by TVB"-obviously. He's given such a lousy character in order to promote Joel. People in general admit good role=good acting. So Joel stood out with his perfect character, but don't think he overshadowed Ruco in acting, he's too 'chok' and his romantic scenes with Elaine were boring as commented by many viewers in some forums. Ah Kit's character was so inconsistent that it's more difficult to portray and less favourable.
  • Ruco finally has some space to show his acting in ep 26 which is awesome, better late than never. Ah Kit, though carries almost the some character as Kuen Lo, Ruco's acting convinces me the difference between the two. Kit is flirtatious and smart and Kuen Lo was entirely simple minded. Maybe fans watch his acting more into details. Simple shallow characters are more difficult to shine and on top of that, to portray typecast roles.
