• @theyenman agreed. He's open about it, therefore not breaking any promises nor making any empty promises. His choice and lifestyle. I actually give kudos to him for being open. Marriage is not for everyone.
  • @abcd It depends on who has more money and fame BUT it also depends if the one cheating is male or female. Asian culture favors males and MOST of the time the guy gets away with it easier.
  • @hohliu not true. If that's the case why was Sheren Tang off the hook but not the guy? Why is Ashley forgiven but not Jackson? There's more to that list. It has to do with how bad the situation is and whether or not the person at fault dealt with it correctly.
  • Not sure if anyone is still reading this page, but Liu Kai Chi won best actor award in Malaysia for the movie Love Endures. You guys should check it out.
  • @abcd he “dated” Charmaine while still in a relationship with Niki. Till date, it’s said that both ladies don’t talk to each other. Gosh, he’s an AxxHxx
  • @abcd there was a report then that Kelvin, during a scene, accidentally kicked someone’s groin and that poor guy was on the floor in pain. Guess what kelvin allegedly did? He walked away nonchalantly. Was said that Kenneth Ma walked to the guy on the floor immediately to check on him. I dislike Kelvin immensely then and has a soft spot for Kenneth.
  • @pinkhelmet please tell more! I didn't know he was a jerk. But I'm not a fan of his anyways. I just know he dated Charmaine and she was very sad after...
  • I really feel bad... He had such a hard life. I'm just glad he left tvb and finally got to make a big imprint for himself. But even if he didn't, he was still one of my favorite actors. He's always been very kind and humble, even when he won his hkfa, he was thanking many people for his win. He will be missed.
  • @abcd Yeh. We need to thank HKTV for giving these talented veterans and also lower support actors lead opportunities. Although the station did not receive a licence, it showed the general audience what some of us already knew. There are some serious talent that have been ignored in TVB over the years in favour of idols and promoted leads. Storylines are tailored towards the promoted actors with barely any significant roles assigned to the veterans apart from playing mums and dads. The movie industry also played a part in displaying these strong actors such as Liu Kai Chi and Eddie Cheung. Maybe the HK are comfort TV watchers who don't like to think which is why Come Home Love and Virtues of Harmony were such a success. If it not TVB's fault then it's the target audience which has wasted these great veterans....
  • @abcd The Melon series was too little too late so he left.
  • @potatochip tvb also gave him a leading role right after he won best supporting actor. But he left tvb after that, he probably figured they would go back to treating him like trash. After he left tvb he had a leading role in a movie, and two leading roles in a TV series.... Of only he had left tvb earlier.
  • @jimmyszeto I'm just glad he left tvb when he did. Tvb didn't even value him until her won best supporting actor for the hkfa. Winter melon was his only main role and left after. After he was finally able to get big roles... It's just so sad he hgot that big bang later on in life. His life has always been a tragedy. I hope he is at least reunited with his son now.
  • @kidd yes it was real. That's why I don't think it's ever a man or woman thing. I really think it's the situation you're put in, or the star power that you have. Sheren has had star power since the early 90s. So it's easy for the public to forgive her. That aside, I quite like Sheren myself lol. She always had charisma.
  • @abcd The Sheren Teng's one was real? I thought it was just rumour without proof.
  • @abcd The persons involved also played. Sammi and Kenneth were well liked in HK and the marriage of Sammie's was perceived to be a solid relationship after years of being together and even reconcilation after breaking up when dating while Ashley's boyfriend is quite an unknown actor and Jackson's wife is not even in entertainment industry. Sammi and Kenneth were also the more famous and well liked artist in their own respective relationship. Add in the fact that there was video of affair of how Jacqueline and Andy behaved which they couldn't worm their way out. In terms of severity, Ashley's and Jackson's affair actually felt no less actually in my opinion. Jackson's wife was heavily pregnant and those two were still involved with each other and giving lame excuse of how she couldn't get out of the role she played in the drama etc. Was surprised that TVB actually is willingly to give Ashley a second chance. The station is running low in leading actresses and potential ones but didn't know they were so desperate that they will keep her. If the public is more forgiving to Jacqueline, TVB will probably do the same as well.
  • @hbc1 And it can keep going, just like Sheren Teng was forgiven, but not cuties ex. So I really don't think it's because Jacqueline is a woman.
  • @hbc1 no that's not true . The public is unforgiving according to how bad the situation was. Look at Jackson and Ashley, Ashley who is the woman was obviously forgiven unlike Jackson. Because in that Situation he clearly was the bigger douche there. In Jacqueline and Andy situation, she was the bigger douche and never even apologized. So no it's not because she's a woman. It's because she was the bigger douche just like Jackson.
  • @arc78 she has regressed... And I sometimes wonder if it's because tvb keeps Giving her the same crying roles, or if it's because she has anxiety and she's only comfortable acting around her close friends like Steven, Fala etc.
  • @abcd I still rem this show. It’s a good drama, Linda Chung did acted quite well in her earlier days but for some reason she has regressed as she became more famous.
