• @adwins So she should be bashed She spent the equivalent of a few months with her her daughter over the course of her life. Severely lacking as a parent. Children are at the most delicate time of their lives at this stage, she will definitely feel neglected regardless of whether her grandparents are there.
  • @adwins YM seems to be a freelance mother. haha..I doubt her visit to her daughter is long. She has been bashed for not spending time with her daughter and ex husband. That was probably the reason for the marriage breakdown.
  • Its great that she finally has free time to visit her daughter given how busy she is . Believe it or not , people are going to bash her for “only” going to visit Noemie now
  • @adwins Well you cannot truly blame people for thinking negatively about Yáng Mi as a mother as she seems to put her career and making money above everything. If she is truly like that then what is the point of her winning custody or trying to seek custody of her kid? Will she just throw her daughter to parents so she can carry on like before? Honestly, not all parents love their children as I know some who don’t. Not to say Yang Mi is like that, however, she does not give out the impression that her daughter is her top priority. I see cases of this in my own family where parents are too focused on work and career that their children are always left out. Work is important since you need to make money to raise your family. However, in this case they make big bucks so can afford to cut back their workload to care for their child, but they just choose not to. Sadly, many of the more poor folks who want to take care of their kid cannot as they need to work to earn money. Yang Mi does not need to give up her career completely but just needs to cut it back but sadly she works just like before. Anyone can have the label “mom” but whether they live up to that label or not is a different story. Being your own flesh and blood is one thing but being there to raise and take care of the child is even more important so you can form a bond. You know the saying, a birth mother is not as mighty and significant as an adopted mother.
  • Funny how people act like they know everything and dislike the fact that Yang Mi is trying to get full custody of her own flesh and blood ( if this is true ) . Yeah she didnt spend a lot of time with her daughter because of the fact that she’s super popular and has a lot of work . But does that mean that she doesnt love her own kid? No . Noemie is her only kid at the moment and the only person that came out of her . Of course she’s going to love her . Same goes for Hawick . I think a lot of divorced couples tend to think that whoever gets the custody technically owns the child , and they are afraid that maybe one day the kid no longer wants to recognise him/her as the “real” father or mother especially when the parent remarries . So i think its perfectly normal that they both want custody of their kid . My cousin’s parents are both very busy surgeons and both spend little time with her but when they divorced , both parents wanted my cousin to be in their custody . Why because a wife or a husband can become an ex but your own kid will always be your flesh and blood .
  • @adwins I love watching Hawick Lau's drama. He is just as talented and very good in his acting role. Even without Yang Mi, Hawick can succeed very well. Also, for family life, popularity cannot be used to ascertain how qualified a person is for another. Who knows, the older one could have married a better person.
  • @adwins Agree, I feel like Hawick gained a lot more recognition/popularity for being her husband. Having a team of people from her management company to plan events/projects for him. His popularity (whatever it is now) is definitely higher right now than if he didn't have a relationship with Yang Mi
  • @adwins Fan Bing Bing is at the bottom of the barrel now. No one in the industry wants to work with her but I get what you're saying. I don't think love should be reflected upon one's wealth and status.
  • WHY am we not surprised? It's just a matter of tme. @adwins Ditto your comments - felt he's got nothing much to him other than first being Lau Dan's son, and then Yang Mi's husband.
  • I always felt that she was too good for him . I mean she was starting to get more and more popular when she married Hawick . She was so popular even though she was married imagine if she wasnt . She could even surpass Fan Bing Bing or be at the same level to be honest . Hawick got to ride along her popularity in all ways . Hawick is pretty lucky you know , he was known at first as Lau Dan’s son and then got popular as Yang Mi’s husband . Hopefully Yang Mi gets to see her kid often
