Her hairdo suits her. She should keep it short. Regarding her marriage status, I am sure Vincent is paying her to keep quiet to protect his image. We as fans, know it is over and should just move on.

@afan202 Yes he looks very Indian or middle Eastern like my cousin who is half Iranian. Even if they are adopted or whatever, they will deny it as they would regard it as a shameful thing. I had some adopted cousins that looked nothing like my uncles and aunts but they lied about it since they were selfish. That can be the case here. Their older sister looks very Chinese/Asian.
-
@afan202 Their eldest sister looks Chinese. Looks like their mom.
-
I have always thought her brother looks very Indian. If they are indeed brother and sister then they are either adopted or her parents used donor embryos. Don't they have another sibling? Wonder what she looks like.
-
Agree that $2M doesn't buy much house in LA, and he must have bought pretty far out from LA.
-
@afan202 very true. My mum loves her mil. She thinks that her mil is very elegant looking. Her mil married into hou moon right after clinching the Ms HK title and then remarry to another rich dude when she was in her 50’s. Really amazing woman. Can marry twice to incredibly rich dudes
-
To me, she is not beautiful, not even pretty, but attractive because the family is down to earth; very unlike her mother-in-law.
-
@afan202 yes and no I guess. Coz she has the means to make sure her kids have good education and won’t need to do what she did growing up and throughout her adulthood.
-
afan202 commented on Mandy Lieu Gave Birth to Alvin Chau’s Youngest Daughter After Breakup Last YearSeems like history is repeating itself. Many is now a single mother just like her own mother.......but with means.

Many times patients are restrained to prevent them unconsciously pulling out their IVs and respirator tubes. It can be very disturbing to relatives but it has to be done. My own father went through it and the scenario still bothers me 20 years after his death.
-
@afan202 Agree with you completely! I never thought pageants were a great place to discover new talent. With a few exceptions, most HK pageant contestants historically have never been able to act. This is a fact. It boggles my mind why TVB still continues to scout new talent primarily from pageants while they are bringing back Mr. HK.
-
You can't have good actors when you acquire them based on looks(beauty contests) not acting ability. They might be a few that can be acceptable but it's few and far between. The standards of the contestants are also dropping. So it's a no-win situation.

@afan202 Obviously we know the writer is on the side of the ccp/prc then...Good thing we're smarter then that!
-
Why did the writer use CNY as the reporting currency? As far as I know Hong Kong still uses HKD and we are all smart enough to do our own conversion.
-
@afan202 She did but I think it is minor compared to Viann Zhang for example, who looks nothing like her old self. They still have some traces of their old self. Fan Bing Bing is not that unnatural as I have seen her childhood photos and photos of her parents and family, and she looks like them but with some minor enhancements.
-
Looks like she is still on China's "black list".
-
It's evident that Carina has had plastic surgery. Her face looks similar to Fan Bing Bing, Aaron Kwok's wife etc etc.
-
@afan202 Very true unless she immigrates elsewhere. Her face is not that plastic. She did have some work done but still overall looks like her old self. You should see her childhood photos. She did not change that much like Viann Zhang for example.
-
If the Chinese government is against her, she wouldn't go too far. Her face is the typical result of excessive plastic surgery. I just can't even look at her.
-
I would think that she is fluent in English since she was there from 10-15 years old. Kids that age learn quickly. As much as Disney that has spent millions promoting this movie she has not made any virtual appearance to market Mulan. It shows Disney is aware of push back for her support for HK Police. I hope US companies know by now that if you pander to China, the rest of the world would likely push back.
