• @megamiaow yes, i totally agree with you. Its hard for every day folks like myself to accept the ageing process. Let alone celebrities who are well known for their good looks. I suppose they are trying to stop/delay time or give them back their looks. IMO though, from what i have seen, this rarely happens, they are just looking at themselves through rose coloured glasses.
  • @dramafan Its difficult for those that are known for their good looks to let go I guess. I used to be a massive fan of his when I was a kid, 心理遊戲 was my favourite of his too. :D
  • How wonderful for him to find a partner after surviving Cancer and a friend of 20 years. Good for him.
  • @mike unfortunately it's a case of too much botox, makes him almost unrecognizable. He used to be very handsome with his baby faced looks. I myself would much prefer a naturally ageing baby faced Daniel, than a smoother but almost unrecognizable Daniel.
  • @dramafan kara has aged naturally and beautifully. too bad maggie didn't do the same instead of pumping her face with botox
  • Kara Hui has aged beautifully. She was not as eye catching as Maggie Cheung in her younger days. But i much prefer her looks to Maggie's now.
  • Yes, have never met Louis Koo, but have always liked him. Correct me if i am wrong, Louis set up a charity in China and has built many schools for underprivileged or orphaned children..? I think it's been reported that he's very low key with his philanthropy work, great for him. In the interviews i have seen of him, he appears to have a different/dry sense of humour. He has never come across as arrogant, but more straight up/blunt with some sarcasm.
  • Glad to hear Cheung Tat Ming is doing well, Cancer is such a horrible disease. I am always happy to read news of celebrities who do good deeds. I can imagine it would be difficult for celebrities to find good friends, let alone ones who are there for you in ill health. Really applaud Francis and Louis's support and care to Tat Ming.
  • 62!!! Wow, in my part of the world people can retire at 65. KK aint lookin like he's goin no where. Keep up the good work KK, you look great.
  • @coralie my thoughts too. @jimmyszeto Chan, who rarely acknowledged his daughter, admitted that he did not leave his daughter with anything in his will and has yet to see her in person.
  • @dramafan Firstly Jackie Chan has always acknowledged that Etta is his kid and he has provided for other child. Just because Elaine and the media made this case high profile then it is unfair to say Jackie is worse than other celebrities. Plenty of Male celebrities sleep around and have plenty of kids abortioned or even born but refused any acknowledgement.Eric has the time but simply refuses to spend it with family. He might enjoy all the high life and substances throughout his life but when he gets older or gets an illness like Gordon Liu then he will realise the harsh truth that friends are only there in times of glory. Family is the key....
  • @jimmyszeto sure, i see your point. But at least Eric acknowledges his kids, JC couldn't even manage that. I think it is a fair assumption that most of Etta's problems are due to her relationship with her parents and lack of acknowledgement by her father. He has provided no emotional, physical, psychological or dare i say financial support. Hence i say he's the worst. I have heard of Eric's vices and scandals. But at least he acknowledged and now even as a decent relationship with his children. Can't see that happening between JC and Etta.
  • @dramafan Nah...Eric is much worse. He chose the drinks, ladies and other substance parties with friends instead of coming home to care for his kids. There is no way that Eric is anywhere as busy as Jackie Chan. He is just making feeble excuses....
  • Eric Tsang's character may be questionable and he has not been the most available father. But no one beats Jackie Chan as the worst , most irresponsible and cruel father in Asian showbiz.
  • @dramafan Her boys will know her mom didn't use her head and kinda wack during her youth but that's not an excuse. You guys tried to make up an excuse for her actions. She is an adult, she has to take responsibility for her own actions. Besides, she is a celebrity and was a role model for the younger generation, she has an image to upkeep to the public. Why do you think Edision and all those girls' movie career ended. I wouldn't want my children to watch their movies or anything that had to do with them. Believe me, most of the people, friends and relatives don't think highly on any of them.
  • @dramafan When her boys grow up, they will know what kind of mother they have and it wont be pretty.
  • @hohliu i totally agree with you about @Mihk1994's comments. They were rude, crude and totally uncalled for. The only mistake Cecilia made at the time, was to get involved with the perverted Edison Chen who chose to record his liaisons. However he did not have the decency or the intelligence to delete or to store the images properly. He single handedly destroyed the reputations and lives and to a certain extent careers of these young women. He is the scumbag here!! Having said that, that was many moons ago. Cecilia was young and not in a relationship at the time. People, young and old are allowed to make mistakes, thats how they grow and become better people. Since her marriage to Nic and now to its' demise. Cecilia has always maintained a dignified silence and i am sure this is to protect her 2 children. She has not bad mouthed Nic in any wsy, i am sure she's hurt as hell. She really needs to be praised for being the caring and available parent to her children. It's important to remember, when we pass judgement and make such hurtful and hateful comments on the internet about someone we dont even know, to please consider the reader. Her 2 boys are at an age where they can access and read information. Imagine the impact of your cruel words about their mother and how this affects them and how they will be viewed by their peers. Think before you post!!!
  • @mike i was referring to Hugo's emotional self sacrifice. To deny oneself of love in order for his wife to find true happiness with another. Even if that meant she took everything he owned. For him, it was more imporrant to see her happy, even if that meant he lost her love.
  • @dramafan Is there anything his wife or he did that wasn't mentioned in this article? Not sure where all of that came from. I've skimmed the article again and its just him talking without any actual examples of sacrifice that he did. The only "sacrifice" was his wife taking care of the family when he worked I presume?
  • I understand Hugo's sentiments towards his wife, if you truly love someone you will want them to be happy. That may mean them being with someone else. One does not develop this understanding overnight, as it is human nature to be selfish. But obviously he has been with his wife long enough, has seen and appreciated the sacrifices she has made for him and their family. He has therefore, reached the epitome of ultimate love, unconditional love and self sacrifice. It is like the love we have for our children, it is uncondional. Not many can do or even be able to recognise this, it's beyond many.
