• RIP Lee Heung Kam. A true HK cinema legend.
  • Celina Harto looks...different to say the least. Was it the angle or just a bad photo? Can't believe it's the same person.
  • HORRID PERSON!! And to all who question ZH and his parents for the recording. They must have been so desperate and pushed into a corner. Her heartlessness and unwillingness to do anything to help her children forced their hand. When you are dealing with a cold/selfish/immoral and heartless woman such as ZS. One must think outside the square. Imagine if there was no recording as evidence. It would be his words against hers. All the while there are 2 innocent children who she refuses to acknowledge or care for and being cared for by ZH and his family. Luckily for the recording, her true colours are now coming out.
  • @dramafan but what about their significant other? Why do women have to start a new family and leave their parent(s)? Women are often the ones who have to adapt to the mother-in-law while men can live with their parents while starting a new family.
  • @mi520 filial means the love, care and respect shown by child/ren to parent/s. A child is seen as filial if they choose to live with their parents in future, meaning they are willing to care for them in their old age.
  • @hetieshou i totally agree with everything you said. I won't go to much into it, but it does take work to maintain a long term relationship. I liken it to having the same meal every day for 20/30/40/50 years. Initially what was so yummy and exciting in time will be repetitive and monotonous because you know it so well. But this is where you have to dig deep and stop yourself from chasing after that thrill/excitement. Being able to refrain from the lure of something new and younger, is the true test of commitment, not a piece of paper. This is where many have failed, hence the high divorce rates. I can imagine Alex has been propositioned a few times in his life, but appears that he has been able to remain by his wife's side. Kudos to him and his wife.
  • @dramafan You made some very good points! All of the things you said truly reminds me of something that this one family friend told me. I heard that she was married for 40 years and you know what she said right after I said that. She looked me straight in the eye and said “it’s hard”. Having a long and lasting and blissful marriage takes a lot of work on both sides. But sadly many think so negatively of Alex just because he said his wife is not beautiful. That can be interpreted in many ways. Since they have been together for so long, little things like that most likely do not matter much or at all. I still my late uncle and aunt were married for several decades before they passed and they always made fun of each other. Outsiders may think they are being rude to each other but they were just being them. However, they remained married until their deaths.
  • He may have had commitment issues Initially. But for a man who began dating a woman in 1996, then married her in 2008 and remains married in 2021. If being with someone for 25 years does not show commitment, I am not sure what will. If my memory serves me correctly, Alex also rarely had any scandals linked with other actresses too in the 80s or 90s. Very attractive man he is. Anyway as a person who has been in a 20 years plus relationship would know, it's not all roses especially after children and other life stresses. Initially, there is the honey moon period which could last for months and years. But this unfortunately does not last forever. After is when the true test of love comes in. And what is it that keeps couples together for the long haul? Acceptance, understanding, tolerance, forgiveness and Love. What goes on behind closed doors no one knows. People stay together for different reasons, what is said may be blunt. But his/her words are one thing, we look at their actions and behaviours and how long they have maintained the relationship.
  • A class, 2 of my favourite actors from the eighties. It is wonderful for both to have such genuine friendship in the entertainment in such a cut throat industry. A testament to both their characters. Love always.
  • Very sad news indeed, have always liked him as an actor. Gone too soon, may he RIP. Condolences to his loved ones.
  • @dramafan Yeah, that's what I meant, I thought the article sounded weird. I'd never doubt Alex' acting skills, he truly is one of the best out there. I didn't know Ray Lui had works done. He looks pretty good for his age.
  • @pompidur I totally agree with you there, he was one of the best actors in Tvb. Strong performances everytime. You need to remember the role he's playing here: Uncle Waiting was a retired firefighter who witnessed his wife jump to her death. Unable to accept reality, Uncle Waiting resorted to waiting for his late wife every single day at the fast food restaurant. Pretty heavy stuff, grieving husband who can't let go. Also, i dont think you can compare him to Ray, i suspect Ray has had a little or alot of minor works done. Just my opinion.
  • @dramafan it's exactly her background that makes her feel privileged. i feel that this lisa chong is a spoiled brat. but at the same time, i think the model girl might be exaggerating it too much. the model should show the text messages to substantiate her claim. no evidence makes it look like she's just trying to get attention.
  • @hohliu definition of a freeloader: a person who takes advantage of others' generosity without giving anything in return. A legit wife can still be a freehoader if they only take from every one, but give nothing in return.
  • @applelim I'm with you there. She kind of reminds me of Michelle Ye. Loud, abusive, for someone of her back ground, really lacking in class. Mat better remember not to get on her bad side, or he's screwed. She sounds nuts!!
  • Awwww, 2 of my favourite TVB actors from the 80s. Happy birthday Felix!! Eddie's post is low key, but so full of sincerity. Glad to see that Felix has so many good friends to support him.
  • I'm not interested in finding out if these two are back together. I am more interested in the reason behind why Song Joong Ki divorced Song Hye Kio?
  • @dramafan Karens are mostly white women; but I think people of any race/color have Karens among them, lol. And exactly. That ex-gf incident and the one where her dog attacked someone at a party gave the Karen-vibe. @hazel Haha, yea, I can see her asking for a manager behind closed doors. Acting talent and interpersonal skills are apple and orange. She's just making excuses for being rude = which is a Karen trait, lol.
  • @jjwong thank you for the explanation. I have never heard of that. I am from Australia, not sure if it is not widely used here, or I am behind with the times. Re: Michelle Ye. I thought she lacked class when she defended her then bf- Mr Xiao Mo and had the online spat with his ex. Very crude and crass and the end result was that Michelle and her bf broke up anyway.
  • @dramafan "Karen" is a slur for people who are entitled, demanding, and OTT angry. Coined and popularized in the US. There hasn't been news about Michelle being caught or flat out Karen. To me, she seems like she can be one or is one, just haven't been caught -hence "closet." This is all my speculation, of course.
