• @huppertspuppet it’s not just the staffs, say if her ward isn’t in a restricted block off section (idk if hospital has that for maternity ward), any visitor could walk past and see her name and phone the press. So she needs some sort of arrangement with the hospital to protect that sort of privacy. And it also say that in general, mainlanders would rather gossip than care for other’s privacy
  • @huppertspuppet Hospital is in China- people are willing to provide info if there is money. I am sure VIPs get special treatment esp political ones or A lister celebs
  • @huppertspuppet I don't think the hospital disclose anything but the actors themselves, like I said earlier they wanted to boast about ZLY and XN friendships. Otherwise the hospital should be sued by now already, paying that amount of money and being the VIP guest and get exposed...? That is way too unprofessional of the hospital. I wonder if the hospital would like to sue them instead LOL
  • @huppertspuppet it’s not just fangirl or YM haters but the news outlet/website needs more click baits because they know how riled up her fans could be lol. The latest news is YM dumped an ex when he got burnt, again could be entirely false, but guess what all her fans jump on it and defended her xD goal scored! If her fans relax a bit, then the news articles would stop fabricate more news lol
  • @huppertspuppet Fangirls? Hawick does not have any fans. You mean Yang Mi haters?
  • @davy It’s an article to brag about XN and ZLY closeness
  • @jimmyszeto Hawick is a cheater who cheated with a busty actress. Gross how fangirls are saying that it was Yang Mi who cheated
  • This is such a cultural shock. Here where I live, doctors, nurses and all other personnel who have a confidential relationship with a patient, ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DISCLOSE ANY PRIVATE MATTERS TO ANYONE BY DEFAULT. I’m appalled that Zhao Liying has to request the hospital staff not to speak to anyone about her medical information. Second, here no patient gets VIP treatment. Even our ministers go to the same hospitals and grocery shops than commoners and it would be a scandal if people found out that there are VIP rooms.
  • @huppertspuppet 'first of all, the West is not worshiping obesity, it’s trying to fight it.' Fighting obesity by having a fat overweight obese slob to grace the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine is not what I consider to be positive body image and fighting obesity. Vogue magazine did the same as well. In fact it has had a negative response by the majority. Many, including myself, feel that such action promotes the acceptance of obesity from a societal level. Again, intentions may be good, but terrible choice of actions.
  • Firstly, I hope Ouyang Nana and countless other young women stay strong after seeing these kinds of humiliating comments. I hope there happens a major spiritual reform among Chinese netizens so that they’d be less venomous and use their negative energy into something more productive and positive. i can’t help thinking that this is the result of extremely fast economical growth, consumerism and the consequent competitiveness in the society and lookism (much like what’s happened in Korea and other nations that became spiritually devoid). Second, Edison Chen is a manchild with very little eloquence. I wonder why so many women agreed to sleep with him and take lewd pictures.
  • @anon Oh God.. first of all, the West is not worshiping obesity, it’s trying to fight it. Second, you misunderstood the body positivity campaign. It is about combatting negative body image and consequent eating disorders. Third just because the West has some effed up beauty standards (that aren’t universally supported btw) doesn’t erase the fact that some Chinese netizens have really effed up world view to insult a young woman for her body just because it doesn’t fit their narrow standards. It should be called out regardless.
  • @huppertspuppet i like to give everyone the benefit of a doubt and not cast reckless judgment. if he comes out to deny it, we need to at least give him that possibility. after all, he has money & clout. if the rumors are true, why would he need to deny? he can just maintain her as a kept woman from now on.
  • @huppertspuppet technically it is illegal since it violates labor laws when $exual activity is involved in order to obtain employment. an NDA would not be applicable or valid here if it's a casting couch situation since it'll be considered signing under duress. see: stormy daniels. however, that may not be the case here, as since you say, they're "consenting adults." despite that, morally & aesthetically, it is gross. plain & simple. they don't have to give a hoot about our opinions; likewise, we certainly don't care about theirs either. but, if the woman in this situation still desires a career in showbiz, she just lost it due to this scandal. it is morally reprehensible what she's consenting to, for obvious financial benefits, and the audience will cast judgment on her accordingly.
  • So many other male entertainers to put onto this list. Ew.
  • I’d call the wife stupid as hell in different circumstances but lets face it, they’re both profiting off of each other and the wife wasn’t born last night. She might be very well aware of the dirt going on but she’s ok with it because she gets something out of it too.
  • @davy Too many transvestite looking, plastic surgery gone wrong type of looks roaming in the entertainment circles sucking and **** the young dudes and old grandpas to get money and instant fame.
  • @coralie Who on this wide world would believe his statement? They obviously did something else than laughed together and held hands lol
  • Well that’s how casting couch works. If she’s fine with it and director is smart enough to make her sign a NDA, all should be fine. And although it’s disgusting that a young girl is **** with a man her dad/grandpa age, that’s been happening forever too. There are no biological obstacles for that, and both are consenting so no moral obstacles either. Just because some people think it’s gross doesn’t mean they have to consider their opinions. Had the actress been a minor, it would have been a different issue but both are adults and know what they’re doing.
  • Stupid censor board. Do something useful instead of attacking earrings on men
