• I think it is also because Moses is a shy person who doesn't know how to flirt that's why he always left empty-handed at the clubs and plus he really wasn't that great looking back then. His receding hairline was quite obvious even when he was in his 20's which can make him look quite old like an uncle. If you don't know what I mean, watch the movie Gen X Cops where Moses is in there as a police who was basically a cocky asshole and you'll see what I mean. That movie is over 15 years old and he was already looking like in his 40's then. I agree his lean figure gives him that screen presence. I remember watching Armed Reaction 3 where he plays a badass triad gang driving a motorcycle and he looked pretty cool. I'm surprised Anita Yuen would treat the crew to lunch at an expensive restaurant seeing as she cares about money so much and is often seen as a pretty stingy person, lol. Dicky Cheung is no surprise to me though. He always seemed generous not only by paying the bill but helping his juniors and friends out when they need help and always giving them pointers and tips on how to become a better actor and handle stress. I would actually love to watch Dicky Cheung and Way Lai in a comedy drama together again. They had great humour chemistry in Journey to the West. Also I found Wayne quite funny in Death by Zero. Would love to watch him and Dicky in a comical funny drama together. It would be epic funny and hilarious to watch! They should have added Way Lai to Dicky's last TVB drama he did instead of putting Tony Hong in there.
  • @tt23 She's definitely got a nice personality. She seems like a very sweet person with a pure and kind heart. However, I don't think she's pretty enough to be a lead actress though. I actually don't find her pretty at all but she's kind of cute. I didn't like her acting at first either but it's getting better and she's easy to watch but I can only see her succeeding well in playing minor supporting roles and not even at 2nd lead. She just doesn't have the charisma or looks to lead a drama.
  • @joyce She definitely got work done on her face. I agree her whole face is completely different. In the picture, I thought that was someone else, can't even recognize that's her. She also looks much different in the youtube video than how she looks in TVB dramas. It's like two complete different person. I think she definitely used some kind of filter to smooth out her skin and make her features more sharp. She also look more feminine and elegant in the Youtube video but she does not resemble that at all in interviews or TVB dramas. She looks like those fake plastic dolls you see in Tik Tok videos. Also her voice even sounds different in that youtube video, it' much softer and girly. I wish she would just be more of herself. I don't find her attractive but at least I think her normal self looks better as it's more natural.
  • There are actually a lot of girl names that start with a Y. Example: Yannisa, Yvonne, Yessenia, Yuri, Yana, Yasmine, Yulia, Yuliana, Yvette, Yan, Yuki, Yohanna, Yannis But I agree boy names that start with a Y is very uncommon other than Yousef
  • @janice omg!! She looked even more scarier than this lady here she seem familiar though still no idea who she is but thanks anyway. Plastic surgery are scary sometimes.
  • @cutie777 This is other one I am talking that I managed to find an article on. Fanny Sieh. Her face looks totally deformed after she has done too many plastic surgeries that it destroyed her face. She looked great even before the surgery and honestly didn't need it. https://plastytalk.com/plastic-surgery-addiction-led-to-hong-kong-actress-fanny-sieh-disfigurement/
  • @janice have no idea who she is but I just thought she looked scary that’s all you could be right about having a plastic surgery too much. About the other two you’re talking about no idea who are they either if you know their Chinese name?
  • @cutie777 No, she probably looks even more scary without the makeup, lol. It's actually because she had a lot of plastic surgery done in the past which leads to why she looks like this now. But yes, her makeup also makes her look quite scary as she often looks like a drag queen or scary clown. There's also another HK actress like her who had too much plastic surgery done and her face is just as messed up too. I don't know what both of their name is in English...I am trying to find both their pictures to show you what they look like.
  • She looks like Ali Li in the 2nd last pic. They look almost identical from that side profile angle. They could perhaps pass as twins.
  • @m0m0 That's because her boobs are not naturally like that. She's had work done. It was known when she did a similar bikini photoshoot about 10 years ago. She was a spokesperson for promoting treatments to make your boobs bigger. Also, if you watch her in when she was competing for the miss hk pageant, her chest was quite flat then. She also got a lot of invites to do bikini fashion shows after she made her boobs bigger.
  • Congratulations to the couple. They look so sweet together, very suitable couple. However, Epaphras doesn't seem to look fully Chinese, I wonder if he is mixed? Anjaylia is not fully Chinese either if I'm not mistaken. I've read she's a mixed with Indian or some other Asian ethnicity. I like how they kept the wedding simple despite Epaphras wealthy background.
  • OMG I can't believe they casted Tony to act along with Dicky. Why couldn't they cast Wayne Lai instead? I'd have loved to have Wayne and Dicky back in a drama again. As for the female lead....I think Grace Wong might actually be a good choice. Grace can be funny and serious too. I was actually excited for his comeback drama but now with these supporting cast....I'm so disappointed!
  • @tiffany Ya I agree. She was just a natural talent. She did really good in Journey to the West in 1996, the one with Dicky Cheung in it. I remember first seeing her in A Kindred Spirit and thought she was a great actress. She still looks very sexy even at her age now.
  • @funnlim I remember reading an article here on Jaynestars that Christine opened a dessert restaurant in Hong Kong and was doing pretty well. I guess she's now doing more business since TVB doesn't promote her anymore. She's hardly in any TV shows or dramas now. A lot of celebrities have started venturing into doing businesses now such as Grace Wong with her own jewelry shop and Vivien Yeo has a beauty shop selling beauty products. Rosina Lam also owns a restaurant too. It's hard for actors to solely rely their income on doing dramas now.
  • @coralie Yes I agree. I have seen some of Karena's interviews and she does sound very mature (for her age) in them and she does seem to have quite high EQ in the way how she responds to the media when she's asked about rumours and whatnot. Also, she does come off as a pretty genuine and down-to-earth person. However, I still don't like her because in a way she's just like Grace. She gained fame and popularity because she started dating Raymond. If it wasn't for Raymond, I bet no one would even know who she is. Karena also isn't a great actress either. I've seen her in a few movies and her acting is even worse than Grace. She's pretty much got no talent at all. She can't sing or act and all her movies have been major flops. She's just good for being known as Raymond's gf. I don't even know why she's still in the entertainment industry. And to be honest, I don't find Karena to be that pretty either. She's looks like most average Hong Kong girls, nothing special. But one thing I give Karena credit for is at least she knows how to talk and handle the press and media better than Grace.
  • @orchid123 Yes I agree people are being a little too harsh on nitpicking on her careless small mistakes in her writing. There is nothing wrong with the way how she spelled some of the words, it's just different English spelling and is not incorrect in any way. I'm Canadian myself and I always spell favourite as favourite and not favorite. It's just a personal preference of which spelling the writer prefers and like better. Personally I like favourite more than favorite. And given the fact that this review is so long and lengthy, it is inevitable that she may have made a few typos here and there. Or it could be simply just autocorrect which is a very common error nowadays. We're all humans and sometimes it could be just mistakes made due to lack of sleep, tiredness, etc from writing and typing. There's no need to criticize so harshly on small things like that.
  • She's so cute! She also looks quite big and tall for a toddler. She's probably going to grow up to be tall like Gigi
  • Usually the winner never do well or get promoted with TVB. There's only a few exceptions of the winners of Miss HK who actually got promoted by TVB such as Sonija Kwok, Shirely Yeung and Grace Chan. Most of them just disappear from the entertainment industry after a year or so they get stuck in playing those minor roles like what happened to Carat Cheung
  • Wow congrats to the couple! I like how they kept everything so simple. The pictures are simply beautiful and yet sweet and natural. They look so happy together. I also like how Shu Qi didn't spend like a million dollars on a wedding dress. She kept it very casual and simple and it suits her. I really like the last two black and white pictures
  • Oh wow I know he's been with TVB for a very long but I didn't know he's 45. He looks really young for his age. He can probably pass as 35. Also didn't know he is Kevin Cheng's cousin. But congrats to him and his partner. First gay marriage couple in the entertainment industry probably doesn't come easy.
